Study on immunologic functions of mice with Si-pu-lin injection

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To discuss the effects of immunologic function in mice immunized by Si-pu-lin injection. METHODS: The transformation of T lymphocyte in vitro was assayed by MTT method. The products of IL-2 and IFN were assayed by the method of cytokine activities. RESULTS: Mice were immunized by Si-pu-lin injection with 3.5 and 1.75 mg/(kg·d).In T lymphocyte transformation test, absorbency(OD_~490 ) of experimental groups was 0.63±0.14 and 0.56±0.09 respectively; stimulation index(SI) was 1.93±0.28 and 1.76±0.16 respectively. The ability of T lymphocyte transformation of experimental groups was more than control groups, t=3.543, P=0.008; t=3.332, P=0.011. The amount of spleen supernatant of IL-2 and IFN in mice immunized by Si-pu-lin injection was than control groups, t=4.229, P=0.003; t=3.140, P=0.013.CONCLUSION:The immunologic function of mice can be enhanced by the application of Si-pu-lin injection.
