Abstract:BackgroundTubridge flow diverter is a widely used device aimed at reconstructing parent arteries and occluding complex aneurysms in China. The experience of Tubridge in treating small and medium aneurysms is still limited. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Tubridge flow diverter for the treatment of the two types of aneurysms.MethodsWe reviewed the clinical records of aneurysms treated with a Tubridge flow diverter between 2018 and 2021 in a national cerebrovascular disease center. Cases were divided into small and medium aneurysms according to aneurysm size. The therapeutic process, occlusion rate, and clinical outcome were compared.ResultsIn total, 57 patients and 77 aneurysms were identified. The patients were divided into two groups: small aneurysms (39 patients, 54 aneurysms) and medium aneurysms (18 patients, 23 aneurysms). There were 19 patients with tandem aneurysms (a total of 39 aneurysms) in the two groups, among which 15 patients (30 aneurysms) were in the small aneurysm group and four patients (nine aneurysms) were in the medium aneurysm group. The results show that the mean maximal diameter/neck in the small and medium aneurysms was 3.68/3.25 and 7.61/6.24 mm, respectively. In total, 57 Tubridge flow diverters were successfully implanted without unfolding failure, and there were six patients with new mild cerebral infarction in the small aneurysm group. The complete occlusion rate on the last angiographic follow-up was achieved in 88.46% of the small aneurysms group and 81.82% of the medium aneurysms group. The complete occlusion rate of patients with tandem aneurysms in the last angiographic follow-up was 86.67% (13/15) of the small aneurysms group and 50% (2/4) of the medium aneurysm group. Intracranial hemorrhage was nonencountered in the two groups.ConclusionOur preliminary experience suggests that the Tubridge flow diverter might be a safe and effective treatment for small and medium aneurysms along the internal carotid artery. Long stents may increase the risk of cerebral infarction. Adequate evidence is required to clarify the definite indications and complications in a multicenter randomized controlled trial with a long-term follow-up.

Abstract:Flow diversion for intracranial aneurysms emerged as an efficacious and durable treatment option over the last two decades. In a paradigm shift from intrasaccular aneurysm embolization to parent vessel remodeling as the mechanism of action, the proliferation of flow-diverting devices has enabled the treatment of many aneurysms previously considered untreatable. In this review, we review the history and development of flow diverters, highlight the pivotal clinical trials leading to their regulatory approval, review current devices including endoluminal and intrasaccular flow diverters, and discuss current and expanding indications for their use. Areas of clinical equipoise, including ruptured aneurysms and wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms, are summarized with a focus on flow diverters for these pathologies. Finally, we discuss future directions in flow diversion technology including bioresorbable flow diverters, transcriptomics and radiogenomics, and machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Assisted Coiling Techniques in Treatment of Intracraniai Complex Aneurysms

Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of assisted coiling techniques in the treatment of complex intracranial aneurysms.Methods From Jun.2007 to Aug.2010,36 patients with 41 complex intracranial aneurysms were treated by varient endovascular methods,including balloon,stent-assisted coiling and double microcatheter coiling techniques.Results Among the 33 wide - neck aneurysms,11cases underwent balloon- assisted coiling,in which 7 were totally occluded,3 subtotally occluded,1 diverted to double microcatheter treatment after failure balloon placement.15 cases underwent stent - assisted coiling,in which 10 were totally occluded,2 subtotally or partially occluded respectively,1 by single stent placement without coiling.8 cases accepted double microcatheter treatment,6 were totally occluded,1 subtotally occluded and 1 partially occluded.All 8 fusiform aneurysms were treated by stent -assisted coiling,one case was totally occluded,6 subtotally occluded,and another one was treated by single stent placement.The complications were found in 3 patients,including intra - operative thrombosis in 2 cases and dysopia in one case.Conclusion Balloon,stent - assisted coiling and double microcatheter techniques are safe and effective in treating complex intracranial aneurysms,but it should be determined by the position and morphologic characteristics of aneurysms as well as the patients' clinical condition.
Review of current intracranial aneurysm flow diversion technology and clinical use

Abstract:Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms (IAs) has evolved considerably over the past decades. The technological advances have been driven by the experience that coils fail to completely exclude all IAs from the blood circulation, the need to treat the diseased parent vessel segment leading to the aneurysm formation, and expansion of endovascular therapy to treat more complex IAs. Stents were initially developed to support the placement of coils inside wide neck aneurysms. However, early work on stent-like tubular braided structure led to a more sophisticated construct that then later was coined as a flow diverter (FD) and found its way into clinical application. Although FDs were initially used to treat wide-neck large and giant internal carotid artery aneurysms only amenable to surgical trap with or without a bypass or endovascular vessel sacrifice, its use in other types of IAs and cerebrovascular pathology promptly followed. Lately, we have witnessed an explosion in the application of FDs and subsequently their modifications leading to their ubiquitous use in endovascular therapy. In this review we aim to compile the available FD technology, evaluate the devices' peculiarities from the authors' perspective, and analyze the current literature to support initial and expanded indications, recognizing that this may be outdated soon.

Abstract:Background Intracranial dissecting aneurysms present clinical challenges, demanding immediate intervention due to their high bleeding risk. While traditional treatments have limitations, the potential of flow diverters shows promise but remains a subject of ongoing debate for optimal management. The aim of this study was assess the safety and efficacy of flow diverters in the treatment of intracranial dissecting aneurysms. Methods A systematic review and meta-analysis was performed following established guidelines. The search encompassed PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase databases up to July 20, 2023. Eligible studies reporting outcomes of interest were included, and relevant data were extracted and analyzed using R software. Results The analysis, based on data pooled from 20 included studies involving 329 patients, revealed a favorable functional outcome rate of 89.7% at the last follow-up. The mortality rate during the follow-up period was 2.4%, decreasing to 0.9% when excluding the outlier study. In the final angiographic follow-up, a complete occlusion rate of 71.7% and an adequate occlusion rate of 88.3% were observed. Notably, studies with longer angiographic follow-up times exhibited lower rates of complete (P=0.02) and adequate (P<0.01) occlusion. A minimal aneurysm recurrence/rebleeding rate of 0.1% was noted, while in-stent stenosis/thrombosis occurred at a rate of 1.14%. Additionally, ischemic events/infarctions were seen in 3.3% of cases. The need for retreatment was minimal, with a rate of 0.9%, and the technical success rate was impressively high at 99.1%. Conclusion This study highlights the safety and efficacy of flow diverters in treating intracranial dissecting aneurysms. Further research, encompassing larger multicenter studies with extended follow-up periods, is crucial for comprehending occlusion dynamics, refining treatment strategies, improving long-term outcomes, and addressing methodological limitations.

Abstract:Background: Flow diversion has significantly improved the management of cerebral aneurysms. Technological advancements and increased clinical experience over the past decade have led to better outcomes and fewer complications. This study provides updated results and examines the factors that influence the success of flow diversion. Methods: We reviewed records of 115 patients with 121 intracranial aneurysms treated from July 2014 to August 2023. All patients had unruptured aneurysms in the anterior and posterior circulation. Results: Complete aneurysm occlusion was achieved in 72.7% of cases, with a complication rate of 9.1%. Significant predictors of complete occlusion included aneurysm diameter (OR = 0.89, 95% CI 0.82–0.97, p=0.009) and the presence of incorporated branches (OR = 0.22, 95% CI 0.08–0.59, p = 0.003). Cox analysis identified neck diameter (HR = 0.92, 95% CI 0.87–0.98, p = 0.009) and incorporated branch (HR = 0.40, 95% CI 0.24–0.69, p = 0.001) as significant for occlusion. Multivariable analysis identified aneurysm diameter (OR = 1.21, 95% CI 1.09–1.37, p = 0.001) as significant for safety outcomes. Improved outcomes were observed in recent treatments, with higher occlusion rates (79.7% vs. 61.7%, p = 0.050) and lower complication rates (4.1% vs. 14.9%, p = 0.011). Conclusions: Enhanced technical proficiency, better devices, and refined patient selection have significantly improved the efficacy and safety of flow diversion for cerebral aneurysms. Identifying significant predictors for treatment success and safety outcomes can inform clinical practice, aiding in patient selection.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To examine the influence of flow diverter on the alterations of cerebral intra-aneurysmal hemodynamics.METHODS:One wide-necked and one narrow-necked sidewall aneurysm in curved vessels were virtually reconstructed. Pulsatile computational fluid simulations were performed on each model for hemodynamic analysis. And the flow diverters were virtually deployed to cover the aneurysmal neck with parent vessels. The hemodynamic changes in parent vessels and aneurysms after a deployment of flow diverter devices with low porosity were studied by the Fluent software.RESULTS:After a deployment of flow diverter, the hemodynamics in aneurysm sac changed significantly. The peak velocity and wall stress strength in impingement zone of narrow-necked aneurysms decreased after the placement of a flow diverter. And similar change also occurred in wide-necked aneurysms, but with a less decreased span.CONCLUSION:Numerical simulation confirms that a flow diverter with low porosity significantly may modify the hemodynamics in aneurysms. Which is important for prevention of bleeding or rebleeding of intracranial aneurysm.

Abstract:Background and PurposeFlow diverter stents (FDSs) are increasingly used for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. Initially developed for the management of giant and large aneurysms, their indications have progressively expanded. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of FDSs for the treatment of anterior cerebral artery (ACA) aneurysms.Materials and MethodsAmong the 94 consecutive patients treated for 100 intracranial aneurysms by means of FDSs in our institution from October 2010 to January 2015, eight aneurysms (8 %) in seven patients were located on the ACA. Three aneurysms were located on the A1 segment, three aneurysms on the anterior communicating artery (ACom) and two on the A2–A3 junction. In three cases, FDS was used for angiographic recurrence after coiling. Five patients were treated with a Pipeline embolization device, one with a NeuroEndograft and the last one with a Silk FDS.ResultsTreatment was feasible in all cases. No technical difficulty was reported. No acute or delayed clinical complication was recorded. Modified Rankin Scale was 0 for six patients and one for one patient. Mean angiographic follow-up was 9.7 ± 3.9 months (range 6–15).Total exclusion was observed in five aneurysms (71.4 %) and neck remnant in two (28.6 %) cases. One patient refused the control DSA.ConclusionOur series shows the safety and effectiveness of FDSs for the treatment of ACA aneurysms.

Abstract:Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and complications of stent-assisted coiling in comparison with flow diversion for wide-necked intracranial aneurysms. Methods: Patients with wide-necked intracranial aneurysms who were treated with stent-assisted coiling or flow diversion were respectively, enrolled into the stent-assisted coiling or flow diversion treatment group. The clinical and angiographic data were analyzed. Results: A total of 61 patients with intracranial aneurysms underwent stent-assisted coiling, including 35 (57.4%) female and 26 (42.6%) male patients with 21 (34.4%) ruptured and 40 (65.6%) unruptured aneurysms. Also, 53 patients underwent deployment of flow-diverting devices, including 30 (56.6%) female and 23 (43.4%) male patients with 25 (47.2%) ruptured and 28 (52.8%) unruptured aneurysms. Stent-assisted coiling was performed successfully in 60 patients with 63 stents deployed, and immediate aneurysm occlusion was complete occlusion in 38 (62.3%) aneurysms, residual neck in 12 (19.7%), and residual aneurysm in 10 (16.4%). Procedure-related complications included in-stent thrombosis in three (4.9%) patients, coil protrusion in three (4.9%), and re-rupture of one (1.6%) aneurysm, with a total complication rate of 11.5%. In the flow diversion group, a pipeline embolization device alone was deployed in each of the 24 (45.3%) patients, adjunctive coiling combined with a pipeline device in 29 (54.7%), and double pipeline devices in each of the 6 (11.3%) patients. Immediately after treatment, complete occlusion was achieved in 3 (5.7%) patients with adjunctive coiling, residual neck in 3 (5.7%), and residual aneurysm in 47 (88.7%). Procedure-related complications included aneurysm rebleeding in one patient (1.9%). Clinical and angiographic follow-up was performed 13–49 months (median 29) after the procedure for 49 (80.3%) patients with stent-assisted coiling, with complete aneurysm occlusion in 27 (55.1%) aneurysms, residual neck in 3 (6.1%), residual aneurysm in 5 (10.2%), and recurrence in 14 (28.6%). Follow-up was performed for 14–37 (median 25) months in 45 (84.9%) patients with flow diversion treatment, with complete occlusion in 39 (86.7%) patients, residual neck in 5 (11.1%), residual aneurysm in 1 (2.2%), and no aneurysm recurrence. Conclusions: Stent-assisted coiling comes with more complications but fewer permanent aneurysm occlusions than flow diverters, and flow diverters are superior to stent-assisted coiling in the treatment of wide-necked intracranial aneurysms, especially in the long-term effect.

Computer simulation and hemodynamic analysis for sole stent treatment of fusiform aneurysm

Abstract:Objective Flow diversion is quite an important concept in treating intracranial aneurysms.This study aimed to evaluate the flow diversion effects of stent only treatment for intracranial fusiform aneurysms.Methods Patient-specific computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model for vertebral artery fusiform aneurysm was reconstructed from three dimention rotation angiography.One to three Enterprise stents were virtually implanted to reconstruct the parent artery.Subsequent hemodynamic analysis was performed with ANSYS.Hemodynamic parameters were compared when different number of stents was implanted.Results Stents were virtually deployed with perfect position and configuration.After the implantation of 1 to 3 stents,aneurysmal wall shear stress(WSS) was reduced by 10%,20.4%,and 28.3%.The flow volume crossing the biggest transversal surface was reduced by 9.6%,21%,and 32.6%.The aneurysmal relative residence time was increased to 145%,207%,and 279%.The change of average pressure on the aneurysm wall is insignificant.Conclusion Stent only treatment is effective todivert the blood flow,and the effect was enhanced by additional stent deployment.Fast virtual stenting technique is efficacious and convenient to simulate the procedure of endovascular stenting.

Abstract:The invention of flow diverting stents (FDS) is a novel milestone in the field of endovascular aneurysm therapy, promoting physiological healing of the vessel segment contrary to prior deconstructive treatment strategies, such as coiling. The effects of FDS are based on changes in flow patterns, segmental wall stabilization, and the growth of a neointima. Although flow diversion is already well established for cerebral aneurysms in proximal segments, peripheral locations remain challenging. Especially the middle cerebral artery (MCA) with its predominance of non-collateralized perforators and functional end arteries that supply the eloquent areas of the brain is of major concern.The literature was reviewed for flow diversion of the MCA and antiplatelet therapy.Resulting from the special anatomical characteristics of the MCA, FDS implantation in this territory is completely different from the proximal vessel segments. Still, flow diversion represents an effective endovascular strategy, especially in otherwise non-accessible or sufficiently treatable lesions. However, the risk of ischemic adverse events might be increased. Special attention to the individual decision regarding device selection, antiplatelet regimen, and exact definition of the proximal and distal landing zone considering the jailed side branches is essential for a good angiographic and clinical outcome. · MCA aneurysms can be sufficiently treated by FDS.. · The anatomic and hemodynamic characteristics of the MCA result in an increased risk of thromboembolism.. · Individual device selection and antiplatelet regimen are essential for treatment success.. · Schüngel M, Wohlgemuth WA, Elolf E et al. Flow Diverter in Unruptured Intracranial Vertebral Artery Dissecting Aneurysm

Abstract:Objective: Intracranial vertebral artery dissecting aneurysm (VADA) may present as aneurysmal dilation alone, dilation with coexisting stenosis, or, in some cases, as a recurrent aneurysm after previous reconstructive treatment. To date, the clinical utility of flow diverters in VADA has not been examined according to these various circumstances. This study aims to report the safety and efficacy of flow diverters in the treatment of various manifestations of intracranial VADA. Methods: A total of 26 patients and 27 VADAs treated with flow diverting stents from November 2014 to September 2021 were included. Medical records and radiologic data were analyzed to assess the safety and efficacy of flow diverting stents. Results: The results showed that 12 cases (44.4%) presented with aneurysmal dilation only, 7 (26.0%) with aneurysmal dilation and one or more associated stenotic lesions, and 8 (29.6%) as recurrence after previous treatment, including stent-assisted coil embolization ( n = 5), single stent only ( n = 1), and coil embolization without stent ( n = 2). Among 27 lesions, 25 were treated with single flow diverters; additional flow diverting stents were required in 2 cases because of incomplete coverage of the aneurysm neck. There was one instance of incomplete expansion of the flow diverter. All cases showed contrast stagnation in the aneurysmal sac immediately after deployment of the flow diverting stent, and during a mean follow-up period of 18.6 months (range 6 to 60), the overall complete occlusion rate was 55.6%, with complete occlusion of 83.3% of aneurysmal dilation only lesions, 42.9% of aneurysms with stenosis, and 25% of the recurrent aneurysm. Only two patients (7.7%) had delayed ischemic complications. Conclusion: Flow diverters have proven safe and effective in unruptured VADA. However, the complete occlusion rate with the flow diverter is relatively lower in VADA with stenosis or with previous stent placement than in dilation-only lesions. Further study with a larger cohort would be needed to confirm these results.

Abstract:Interventional Neuroradiology, Ahead of Print. Background and purposeTreatment of recurrent intracranial aneurysms after their initial therapy has been a significant challenge in the field of neurointervention. Recently flow diverters stents are widely used for treating intracranial aneurysms. In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we assessed the safety and efficacy of flow diverter in treating recurrent or recanalized intracranial aneurysms.MethodsThis meta-analysis is reported following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. We conducted a systematic review of literature in the PubMed, Embase, Web of Sciences, and Scopus databases. Pooled prevalence and the corresponding 95% are calculated from extracted data using a random-effect model.ResultsThe systematic literature search included 21 studies involving 411 patients, with 135 (32.8%) being male and 276 (67.2%) being females with a total number of 447 aneurysms. The overall rate of adequate occlusion was 90.67% (95% CI: 84.23%–94.65%), and the rates were comparable between the surgery (93.48%), coiling (91.78%), and stenting (85.77%) groups. The overall pooled rate of complete occlusion was 81.80 (95% CI: 71.14%–89.13%). On doing a subgroup analysis, the complete occlusion rates were 89.68%, 84.39%, and 73.47% for the surgery, coiling, and stenting groups, respectively. The overall mortality rate and achieving modified Rankin scale score of 0-2 was 1.28% (95% CI: 0.45%–3.64%) and (95% CI: 89.92%–97.84%), respectively. No significant heterogeneity is noted in the included studies.ConclusionFlow diverter stents are an effective and safe method for retreating recurrent or residual intracranial aneurysms with a high rate of complete and adequate occlusion. The rate of mortality, intracerebral hemorrhage, and overall and procedural complications following using flow diverters for intracranial aneurysms is low.

Innovations in intracranial aneurysm treatment: a pilot study on the Choydar flow diverter

Abstract:Background: The flow diverter (FD) has emerged as a promising treatment option for intracranial aneurysms. Recently, a novel flow-diverting stent, the Choydar FD device, has been developed within our nation. Objective: To introduce the newly developed Choydar FD device and present our preliminary clinical experience with its application in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. Methods: A total of 23 patients with 23 unruptured intracranial aneurysms, comprising 20 (87.0%) aneurysms located at the internal carotid artery and 3 (13.0%) at the vertebral artery, were treated with the Choydar FD device between December 2021 and April 2022. Patient baseline data, clinical and angiographic outcomes were collected and analyzed. Results: The Choydar FD device was successfully deployed in all patients (100%), with 18 aneurysms (78.3%) additionally treated with coils. One patient experienced an ischemic event with sensory disturbance during the perioperative period. At the 1-year follow-up, all patients demonstrated good clinical outcomes. Of the 23 aneurysms with available angiographic follow-up, 22 (95.7%) achieved complete occlusion, and one patient exhibited in-stent stenosis without neurological deficits. Conclusion: The initial clinical results of the Choydar FD device are encouraging, and it appears to be a useful option for treating intracranial aneurysms with acceptable efficacy and safety. Future studies with larger sample sizes and longer follow-up durations are warranted to validate these findings.

Abstract:Treatment of wide-necked complex intracranial aneurysms continues to challenge neurointerventionalists. Intrasaccular flow diverters have expanded the armamentarium considerably and are now used extensively. While five types of devices have already obtained the CE mark for use within Europe, only the Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Other intrasaccular devices are the Luna/Artisse Aneurysm Embolization System (Medtronic), the Medina Embolic Device (Medtronic), the Contour Neurovascular System (Cerus), and the Neqstent Coil Assisted Flow Diverter (Cerus). This mini review will provide a compact overview of these devices and a summary of the current literature.

Abstract:Intracranial aneurysms are common diseases in neurosurgery.The effect of endovascular treatment and craniectomy operation were poor for complex aneurysms(with wide neck,fusiform shape and dissection). The advent of intravascular stents has established a new route to treat complex intracranial aneurysms, but the security and validity should be checked in a long-time follow up.

Abstract:Background Few publications have dealt exclusively with the use of flow diverter stents for the treatment of aneurysms of the anterior cerebral artery (ACA). Objective To determine the efficacy of flow-diverting stents in the treatment of small, unruptured aneurysms of the ACA. Methods We retrospectively reviewed our database of prospectively collected information for all patients treated with flow diversion for an unruptured saccular aneurysm of the ACA between September 2009 and July 2016. The aneurysm fundus size, neck size, number and type of flow-diverting stent (FDS), complications, and follow-up data were recorded. Results In total 26 patients, with 27 aneurysms were identified that matched our inclusion criteria (11 male and 15 female). The average age of the patients was 59.3 years (range 27–77 years). All patients, except one, had a single aneurysm affecting the ACA. Fourteen aneurysms were located on the left (51.9%). The average aneurysm fundus size was 2.9 mm (range 2–6 mm). Twenty patients had follow-up angiographic studies. In total, 16 aneurysms were completely excluded, 1 aneurysm showed a very small remnant, and no follow-up angiographic data are available for the remaining patients. One patient had a treatment-related complication. Conclusions Treatment of aneurysms arising from the ACA with flow diverters is technically feasible and carries a high degree of success with low complication rate.

Abstract:Flow diverter is a kind of stent-like devices with higher metal coverage rate, and it is deployed endovascularly to treat cerebral aneurysms, especially to treat giant aneurysms. However, there exist some arguments about its safety and efficacy. Hemodynamics is considered to play very important role during the initiation, growth and rupture of cerebral aneurysms. In this study, the models of a giant cerebral aneurysm involved a small branch at the aneurysmal sac before and after flow diverter implantation were constructed by virtual deployment, the blood flows in the models were simulated by computational fluid dynamics method. Analyzing the variations of the hemodynamics, the following conclusions were summarized. The flow diverter is very effective device to occlude the aneurysm, the flow rate at the small branch was rarely changed when the flow diverter deployed and the flow diverter.

Abstract:To investigate the safety and effect of Tubridge flow diverter deployment for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, 85 patients with intracranial aneurysms treated with the Tubridge flow diverter were retrospectively enrolled. The clinical data including the baseline data, aneurysm parameters before and after treatment, and follow-up outcomes were assessed. Among 85 patients, there were 35 (41.2%) males and 50 females (58.8%) aged 17–77 (mean 56.7 ± 11.1) years with 110 aneurysms. Five (5.9%) patients initially presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage from aneurysm rupture. The aneurysm size was 2–30 (mean 8.6) mm, and the aneurysm neck was 2–10.6 (mean 5.7 ± 2.3) mm. Ninety-three Tubridge stents were deployed. Twenty-five (29.4%) patients experienced adjunctive loose coiling. Blood flow was significantly reduced from entering the aneurysm after stent deployment. Periprocedural complications occurred in three (3.5%) patients, including in-stent thrombosis during embolization in one patient (1.2%), conjunctiva edema on the right in one patient (1.2%), and acute multiple cerebral infarctions in one patient (1.2%). Angiographic follow-up was conducted in 67 (78.8%) patients 3–36 (mean 15.3 ± 5.6) months later. In 11 (16.4% or 11/67) patients, blood flow still entered the aneurysm with the O'Kelly-Marotta (OKM) grade B in two (3.0%) patients and grade C in nine (13.4%), whereas complete occlusion (OKM grade D) was achieved in the other 56 (83.6% or 56/67) aneurysms. In-stent stenosis was present in five (7.5%) patients with approximately 25% stenosis in three (4.5%) patients and 50% in two (3.0%). In conclusion, the Tubridge flow diverter can be safely and efficiently applied in the treatment of small and large intracranial aneurysms, with a low periprocedural complication rate, a high occlusion degree, and a low in-stent stenosis rate at follow-up even though large aneurysms may necessitate a longer surgical time and adjunctive coiling.
