The Role of Campus Plants in Pharmaceutical Botany Teaching

Abstract:With the attention to campus environment,more and more plants have been transplanted into the campus,and the construction of medicinal botanical garden is especially important to develop the plant resources.Pharmaceutical Botany is a practical subject,which requires students to identify a large number of medicinal plants.For years,the authors have been working hard on increasing the outdoor teaching of pharmaceutical botany using samples from campus plants,which has developed students' interest in plants and improved their practical ability in recognizing plants.This practice plays an important role in promoting teaching and learning of medicinal botany,as well as giving full play to the role of campus plants in the course.
