Strengthening the Construction of Medicinal Botanical Garden and Improve the Level of Practice Teaching

Abstract:The medicinal botanical garden,as practice teaching and practical training base in campus,plays an important role in the construction of the Specialty of Chinese Medicines Resources and Exploitation as well as the teaching and scientific researches of Pharmaceutical Botany and Pharmacognosy. This paper introduces work performed in the Medicinal Botanical Garden of China Pharmaceutical University during the establishment of practicing base depending on construction of new campus,which is important to train students' practice ability and creative spirit and propagate Chinese medicnes culture. The authors hope it will provide a reference to medical and pharmaceutical universities and colleges or related academy to improve the level of practice teaching entirely.
