The application value of conventional therapy combined with immunotherapy in patients with calculous obstructive jaundice

Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of conventional therapy combined with immunotherapy in patients with calculous obstructive jaundice who received surgical operation.Methods Ninety-two patients with calculus obstruction jaundice were randomly divided into experimental group ( group A) and control group ( group B) ,with 46 patients in each group.All the patients were treated by conventional therapies including anti-infection, gastrointestinal decompression and parenteral nutrition support, however, the patients in group A, on the basis of conventional therapy, were treated by immunomodulatory therapy,with a treatment course of 1 week for both groups.The lymphocytes counts ( LC) and the levels of human leukocyte antigens (HLA-DR) were detected before treatment and on 1d, 3d, 5d, 7d, 14d after treatment,moreover, the postoperative infection rates were observed and compared between two groups.Results There were significant differences in lymphocytes counts and the levels of HLA-DR between two groups ( F =5.783, P <0.05), moreover,there were significant differences in lymphocytes counts and the levels of HLA-DR in different time pionts between two groups ( F =10.425, P <0.01).Both LC and HLA-DR levels on 3d, 5d, 7d after treatment in group A were significantly higher than those in group B ( P <0.05).The postoprative infection rate in group A was 8.7%(4 cases),however,which was 26.1%(10 cases) in group B,there was a significant difference between two groups ( P <0.05).Conclusion The conventional therapy combined with immunotherapy can improve immune suppression and promote the recovery of the immune function, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of postoperative infection in patients with calculous obstructive jaundice.
