Abstract:To explore an integration teaching method, idea and pattern in clinical medicine and basic medicine. Conventional teaching methods or patterns, to some extent, restrict the development of modern medical education. And the relatively separated and independent teach in clinical medicine and basic medicine restrain students from well developing. In this study, case-based integration teaching (CBIT) patterns were applied instead of conventional patterns. The CBIT patterns include: case-question-discussion; ideas of diagnosis and treatment; multimedia-aided and bilingual teaching and cultivation of innovation ability. The result shows that the satisfaction rate is 100% in CBIT class, and the rates of interest, understanding memory ability, enlightenment of diagnosis thinking and innovation of scientific research in CBIT class are significantly higher than those in conventional class. Similarly results are founded when we applied CBIT in pathology teaching. On the base of this, we should explore a new model of teaching which combines clinical medicine with basic medicine as an integrated pattern.

Abstract:In order to carry out the comprehensive reform of the professional master's degree training mode of clinical pharmacy,we carried out interviews among 91 persons on the professional master's degree of clinical pharmacy in Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and collected extensive feedback.We preliminaries explore the mode of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Education,laying the foundation for Doctor's education of professional clinical pharmacy in China.We conducted investigations and interviews among 91 clinical pharmacists and students of Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences on the training of professional master's degree and Pharm.D.education mode,which includes 67 postgraduates and 24 clinical pharmacists.Respondents put forward the problems of training mode and corresponding suggestions and opinions from different aspects during the investigation and interview.The results mainly divide into four aspects:curriculum setting,clinical practice,assessment system and teaching resources.Respondents put forward effective feedback on the above four aspects,which are beneficial to the comprehensive reform of the training mode of professional master degree in clinical pharmacy and preliminary exploration of Pharm.D.Education in China.

Abstract:Objective: To review the training mode of clinical pharmacists in the United States for improving the training methods of pharmacy professionals in China thus cultivating clinical pharmacists who can effectively guide clinical rational use of drugs. Methods: Taking the Pharm.D. program of the USC school of pharmacy as an example, this paper briefly introduces how the United States develop Pharm.D. students' clinical practice ability and compare this mode with the current clinical pharmacist training mode in China. Results: China's pharmaceutical college curriculum is not reasonable enough. Due to lack of clinical thinking, the undergraduates are not competent to the job of clinical pharmacists. Conclusions: The traditional pharmacy training mode should be changed into a scientific one through improvement of the curriculum, educational system, continuing education, et al. with the objective of cultivating pharmaceutical professionalswith rich clinical experience.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To develop in 6-year grade postgraduates the expert knowledge and capability in clinical pharmacy through systematic training and practice. METHODS: In the early post-graduate stage,the postgraduate students were assigned to different specific areas. Training methods such as clinical tutoring system,multi-angle training,regular training etc were taken,and a training procedure of pharmacy practice,clinical practice and joining in specialized subjects etc was set up for the students. RESUTLS: After training,the students had adapted to the routine work in hospital pharmacy,developed the knowledge and skills to provide clinical pharmaceutical care,and mastered the clinical pharmacy research methodologies to set up subjects and solve clinical problems. CONCLUSION: The training program for the 6-year grade postgraduates majored in clinical pharmacy achieved a satisfactory outcome in either practice or scientific research.

Abstract:Objective: To le t the students understand the complexity and variety of clinical cases and to im prove the ability of the students in individual treatment with drug. Methods: Before the lecture, the students were informed about the topic and content of t he lecture. Then the teacher offered a series of clinical cases and a question w ith multiple choices for each case. The students answered questions in class imm ed iately. The teacher gave the accurate answers and explained according to the stu dents' answers and discussed with students. At last the students were examined a gain. Results: The discussion was ardent. The communication between teacher and students was wide. Conclusion: The new teaching mode o f clinical pharmacy, offering a series of cases and asking questions in class, i s a well accepted teaching mode.

Abstract:Objective: To explore a working mode of anticoagulant clinical pharmacists.Methods: Following global advanced management mode, combined with situation of our hospital, relative work has been conducted in the following areas:①Inpatient anticoagulant drugs education management;②Dosing advising of anticoagulant drugs based on pharmacogenetic method;③Outpatient follow-up clinics executed by physicians, nurses and pharmacists. All the work above explores a working mode for integrated anticoagulant pharmaceutical care.Results: Anticoagulant education and pharmacogenetic dosing advising have been provided to more than 120 cases till now, which has been preliminarily recognized by the clinical physicians and provided references for further establishing integrated pharmaceutical care.Conclusion: The intervention of clinical pharmacist may provide a new mode of integrated clinical pharmaceutical care.

Abstract:It's the main trend of the development of international pharmaceutical education to cultivate professionals with the capability of pharmaceutical service by professional degree education.Clinical pharmacy rotation practice,named officially as "Advanced clinical pharmacy practice" at our school,is specific to our master of pharmacy (M.Pharm) graduate students for clinical pharmacy practice training in multiple clinical departments in hospitals.It is meaningful for the education reform of clinical pharmacy to evaluate the outcome of clinical pharmacy rotation practice.Questionnaire was developed based on the Teaching Guide To Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice and its related record forms.The practice outcomes of clinical rotation practice in the first two years for M.Pharm graduate students were assessed using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Results showed that the teaching effect of clinical pharmacy practice was at the "excellent" level.The evaluation scores of Grade 2011 and Grade 2012 were 90.60 (excellent) and 91.83 (excellent) respectively,while the overall score was 91.29 (excellent).Students showed excellent skills and have met the requirements of the teaching guide after practice.There are somethings to improve in clinical rotation practice teaching.This study will provide important information for our school and the nation to achieve teaching reform in M.Pharm education of clinical pharmacy.

Abstract:2890 IntroductIon In the 1950s, clinical pharmacy emerged in the United States and gradually developed into an indispensable component of the clinical services system. The American College of Clinical Pharmacy defines clinical pharmacy as a pharmaceutical field that focuses on the science and practice of rational drug use.[1] Since its emergence, people have explored the clinical drug management needs that can be provided by pharmacists. Initially, as a supplement to nurses, pharmacists worked in clinical settings and were mainly involved in reducing medication errors, controlling drug costs, and monitoring adverse reactions. The working model and laws and regulations regarding pharmacists had thus been explored and established at that time, but their position was not yet formally defined. In the 1970s and 1980s, a working model of clinical pharmacists became gradually established through the publication of clinical pharmacy guidelines and improvements to the evaluation system. In the 1990s, the focus of clinical pharmacy turned from drugs to patients; being patient‐centered, clinical pharmacists reduced adverse reactions, decreased mortality, and improved treatment effectiveness, thus replacing some of internists’ work.[2]

Abstract:The effect of clinical practice directly affects the clinical ability and professional quality of graduates, lack of interest in practice, lack of doctor-patient communication skills and conflict with other clinical training doctors are common problems in current practice. This article through to the clinical medical undergraduate interns in practice there is lack of interest, in the process of doctor-patient communication skills and conflict with other clinical training for doctors and other issues were discussed, and through the reform of teaching methods, strengthen the teaching supervision and organize training of doctor-patient communication, in order to improve the clinical interns learning autonomy, strengthen the doctor-patient communication skills, to further improve the quality of medical personnel training to provide help.

Abstract:Objective To gain a better knowledge of the education for masters in clinical medicine (general practice) and provide a reference for the better exploration of the training mode of GP students.Methods 9 colleges and universities enrolling students for this program were selected with stratified sampling.A questionnaire was conducted in terms of admission,curriculum setting,clinical training,guidance and evaluation through officials in charge of graduate affairs from February to July in 2014.Descriptive analysis was performed to the investigation results,using SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Results A full-time undergraduate degree in clinical medicine was explicitly required in 88.9％ (8/9) of colleges and universities.The average total credits of the course were 23.7 and the average clinical training duration was 32.4 months.Tutor group was adopted in all colleges and universities.The assessment and evaluation of the GP masters was mainly composed of multiple forms of process assessment and final evaluation.Conclusion We suggest attaching more importance to the improvements of enrollment policy,curriculum system,clinical training,standardized training base construction,teaching staff,and evaluation system in order to explore GP training mode in accord with the law of general practice and suitable for China's national conditions.

Abstract:Objective:Along with the progress of technology,online distance education is gradually developing and changing.Online distance education starts from relying on the postal,paper-based materials communications,developing to the broadcast transmission,and then to the current computer technology support network,video conferencing,etc.All the developing had promoted the exchange and update of information and communication between the two sides.This paper mainly discusses the new teaching mode-the construction of classroom global for the online interactive teaching mode of clinical pharmacy.Methods:This article reviewed the course background,teaching mode construction,examination and evaluation system,network course construction,effect evaluation and other aspects,analyses advantages and disadvantages,so as to further improve the construction of online interactive teaching mode.Results:During the year 2014 -2016,classroom global of clinical pharmacy online interactive teaching mode courses benefit students a total of 56 people,of which included 33 Chinese students,23 UK students.Conclusion:In collaboration with the University of Kentucky,global classroom course of clinical pharmacy online interactive teaching mode realized students and teachers from different locations in the same classroom learning and discussion at the same time on a topic of interest.The course set up online teaching mode of medical and pharmaceutical in different countries,exploring new teaching mode and focusing on interaction and collaboration,studying on the teaching mode of common challenges of localization and globalization.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To investigate the cognition of clinical pharmacists on the clinical pharmacy practice and their profes-sion,and provide reference for further developing clinical pharmacy practice. METHODS:A questionnaire was designed,and ran-dom sample was conducted for the clinical pharmacists from 30 secondary and tertiary hospitals in Shanghai,and the investigation results were analyzed statistically. RESULTS:Totally 130 questionnaires were sent out,and 102 were effectively received with valid response rate of 78.46%. 94.11% of the investigated subjects were willing to be a clinical pharmacist,but 17.65% of them consid-ered that they were incompetent for their work;29.41% of them thought the current situation of clinical pharmacy practice was not ideal;all the respondents considered that the clinical pharmacist system should be implemented in medical and health institu-tions;the cognition and evaluation of investigated subjects in tertiary hospitals on clinical pharmacy practice and their profession was generally higher than those in secondary hospitals(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The clinical pharmacists in medical and health institutions in Shanghai showed high cognition on their profession,and the clinical pharmacy practice has already made some achievements,but many work still need to be improved. Therefore,clinical pharmacists should continuously study their profession-al knowledge and improve their professional skills and quality;hospitals and universities should strengthen the subject construction and personnel training of clinical pharmacy and deeply carry out the clinical pharmacist system;health administration departments should strengthen the related laws and regulations of clinical pharmacy;colleges and universities should strengthen the discipline construction and personnel training.

Abstract:To aim to improve teaching methods and raise teaching standards, after the questionnaire investigation and baseline test, we adjust the teaching content and methods, which were combination of the traditional teaching method and PBL. Finally, multi factor analysis of the effect of endocrine specialist clinical practice was in progress. The results showed that this kind of teaching method is very suitable in clinical practice of medical students, and it is a good helper to grow in practice.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To describe the current status and developing trend of clinical pharmacy education in China.METHODS: Descriptive analysis of data and information about the clinical pharmacy specialty, pharmacy colleges, and curriculum from literature, college websites, and statistics from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Ministry of Education (MOE) websites was conducted.RESULTS: Clinical pharmacy programs were established in China in 1989 but developed more fully after 2006. In 2012, there were 30 pharmacy colleges with clinical pharmacy undergraduate programs, which included a bachelor's degree in clinical pharmacy and a clinical pharmacy concentration within the BS programs of pharmacy or medicine. More than 40 colleges within the university system offer 4 types of master's degree programs in clinical pharmacy. Five universities offer a PhD program in clinical pharmacy. Three postgraduate programs exist, which train hospital pharmacists and clinical pharmacists: the 3+2 year Hospital Pharmacist Standardized Training Program at Peking hospitals; the 1-year Clinical Pharmacist Training Program sponsored by the MOH; and the 2-year Clinical Pharmacist Residency Program provided by West China Hospital at Sichuan University.CONCLUSION: A growing clinical pharmacy education system has been established and has become an important subfield in Chinese pharmacy education. Measures should be taken to further promote the development of clinical pharmacy education in China.
