Abstract:Objective To explore the bilateral balance decompressive craniectomy in treatment of severe closed craniocerebral in-jury effect. Craniocerebral severe closed Methods 92 patients with severe closed craniocerebral injury admitted to our hospital from January 2006 to June 2014 were divided into study group (n=46) and reference group (n=46),respectively receiving bilateral balance decompressive craniectomy and unilateral standard trauma big bone flap decompression. Intracranial pressure before and after the operation of the two groups was investigated; the effect and complications were compared between the two groups . Re-sults After treatment, intracranial pressure of two groups was lower that before treatment (P<0.05), but intracranial pressure in the study group was significantly lower than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the com-plications of study group was significantly less than of the reference group (P<0.05), and the total effective rate (84.78%) of the study group was higher than that of the reference group (54.35%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of bilateral balance de-compressive craniectomy in the treatment of severe closed craniocerebral injury patients is remarnable, so it is worthy of promo-tion.
