Abstract:Sweet corn seeds because of their high sugar content,low starch accumulation,and loose organizational structure,and seed vigor of sweet corn drops quickly after harvest,and after they lose their breeding utilization values,sweet corn seeds generally can't be used for commercial purposes, which can cause great economic loss.In this experiment,the seeds of five sweet corn varieties were graded by different physical selection methods.Subsequently,germination indexes and physiological and biochemical indexes of the seeds were measured.The results showed that both the solution method and the wind sifting method were able to obtain high vigorous seed.
