Determination of Butachlor and Oxyfluorfen Residues in Sugarcane and Soil by GC

Abstract:[Aims] The aims were to establish a method for simultaneous determination of butachlor and oxyfluorfen residues in sugarcane and soil by gas chromatography.[Methods] The sugarcane and soil samples were extracted with acetonitrile,then cleaned up by MWCNTs and PSA (primary secondary amine),finally,the residues were determined by gas chromatography (GC).[Results] The minimum detectable level for butachlor and oxyfluorfen were 0.015 and 0.005 ng,and the limit of quantification were 0.005 and 0.002 mg/kg,respectively.The average recoveries were 73.4-107.5％,and the relative standard deviations (RSD) were below 13.7％.[Conclusions] The method was accurate and reliable.When butachlor · oxyfluorfen 30％ EW was applied at recommended dosage,the residues in sugarcane were safe to human.
