Modification of equivalent draw bead restraining force and geometric parameters based on experimental data

Abstract:Draw bead restraining test device was designed and manufactured to measure the draw bead restraining force with varying draw bead fillet radius .Relationship between real draw bead resistance and draw bead fillet radius was obtained .Through the comparison and analysis of experimental results and equivalent draw bead theoretic results ,the equivalent draw bead restraining force is found larger than the experimental data with the same geo‐metrical parameters .In this paper ,the mapping relationships between theoretical and actu‐al values of both draw bead fillet radius and draw bead restraining force were established , which can reduce the design margin and try out workload in stamping die design .
