Abstract:The technique of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis was discussed.The structure of monitoring and fault diagnosis system was introduced.Some key techniques in the system implementation were analyzed which included the B/S structure,web diagnostic technique and so on.Using this remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system,domain experts and professional skill personnel can be summoned to diagnose faults of equipments based on web-model,and huge economic losses caused by faults of hydraulic equipments can be avoided.

Abstract:To meet the requirement of highly real-time, tremendous data transferring and complicated diagnostic causes of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis with power electronic equipment, a novel idea of distributed system with industrial PC (IPC) and PLC controlling field terminal is proposed in this paper. Based on the techniques of power electronics, fault diagnosis and network, a remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system with combination of a three-layer C/S structure and Internet is presented, which achieves with high compatibility between different equipment. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the discussion about the structure of compatible systems, the compatibility design of remote monitoring and the realization of field control equipment, such as the data collection sub-system, the real-time monitoring sub-system, the fault diagnosis sub-system and the data disposal and management sub-system, and the design of the data transferring sub-system and the communication protocol format.This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 50207008).

Abstract:The electric vehicle circular charging device is a kind of large, high-power, DC, box charging equipment, which has the characteristics of power sharing and flexible charging. In order to make the circular charging device work and operate normally, a remote mobile monitoring and fault diagnosis system is designed based on cloud platform. The system is composed of server and mobile terminal. The server is developed based on Web Service platform, providing large data interaction for mobile terminals. The mobile terminal is based on the Android platform to design the mobile monitoring function for the charging pile and to handle the fault. The analysis and diagnosis method based on fault tree and fault processing flow of charging equipment is given in detail. The application of the system shows that the intelligent management, intelligent operation monitoring and intelligent after-sale service of the equipment are realized, and the management efficiency is improved.

Abstract:According to the weakness of 3D laser scanning machine in fault diagnosis, a new design approach for fault diagnosis has been developed. The new system consists of three layers, including the local fault diagnosis, fault service centre and multi-user cooperative diagnosis. The local fault diagnosis system, which is embedded in the existing CNC system, offers online, offline diagnosis, fault compensation and remote communication services. With the support of the fault diagnosis database, the local fault diagnosis system chooses two agents that supply the user with a different view on problem as its intelligent analyzer to retrieve the optimal checkpoints. In addition, it builds the local fault diagnosis engine as a Web service to facilitate users to share their diagnosis resource with others. The fault service center, which is supported by the customer service database, is designed to offer advanced suggestions to customers when their local fault diagnosis system fails to remove the malfunctions independently. It mainly provides four functions including fault diagnosis BBS, Web-based retrieval, customer register and remote communication. It also adopts two agents to deal with Web-based retrieval. The remote communication module supported by audio/video guide makes remote diagnosis effective. In order to acquire all of the users' diagnosis resource, the customer register module registers all users' Web services in the registry; therefore the fault service center could bind and execute the customers' Web services when they are confused by a certain difficult problem. Finally, the key techniques for the system building are introduced, and the feasibility of the system is also testified.

Based on the power electronics, fault diagnosis and network technology, a distributed system with remote fault diagnosis function and high compatibility is presented in the paper. Abstract:With the rapid growth of the country’s economy and the rapid expansion of the industrial scale, the engine is developing towards high speed, high efficiency, and high power density. Synchronous motors are an important part of the power provided by large-scale chemical enterprises. The protection and control of synchronous motors are related to the long-term and safe operation of enterprise electrical equipment. The purpose of this paper is to realize the remote vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis of multiple rotating machines and real-time online monitoring and data storage function of the vibration state of the monitored equipment. The operation is simple and stable, and therefore, the problem of the equipment can be found at the first time, which provides forward operation of the equipment for a long time. In this paper, vibration caused by unbalanced mechanical equipment is not normally monitored remotely. Taking rigid rotor rotating machine as the research object, we adopt “Web server-database server-client” structure, the structure is the core software and hardware system design, and the application of Internet of Things technology enables users to remotely monitor and analyze the vibration state of multiple rotating mechanical devices at the same time. Hardware design mainly includes processor, function chip, sensor selection, filter circuit, adaptive sampling frequency signal acquisition circuit, and temperature measurement circuit design. Software design mainly includes main program design, signal acquisition subroutine, calibration subroutine, unbalanced calculation subroutine, and GPRS network communication subroutine. Finally, the function and stability of the whole system are verified through multiple experimental analyses. The objective has finally been achieved. The remote vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis system of the rotating machines designed on this paper is of low cost and high efficiency, simple operation, and high stability, and it is essential to identify and eliminate equipment errors in time.

Abstract:A remote distribution based agricultural mechanical fault diagnosis system was proposed against the characteristics of high technology and difficult fault diagnosis in the modern agriculture and the time-sensitive requirements in agricultural production. The paper introduced the overall system architecture and working principle, analyzed the development of site monitoring and diagnostic system, remote diagnosis center, network communication systems, and software systems development, and investigated the system's main implementation techniques, which include network database technology, data compression and transmission technology and system security technology.

Abstract:For modem complex industrial machines, due to the variable nature of faults and model uncertainty, no single approach can diagnose all faults and meet different contradictory criteria. To overcome these shortfalls and exploit advantages of different approaches, an integration of different methods or hybrid schemes are highly recommended. With the latest development in Internet and Intranet technologies, especially with the development of the Grid computing, it is now possible to provide different algorithms as individual services and combine these services dynamically to generate a 'virtual organization' for fault diagnostic purposes. Therefore, the main idea of this paper is to build an integrated fault diagnosis system on the computational grid structure and the preliminary implementation of this integration for the complex electromechanical equipments fault diagnosis is discussed.

Abstract:To solve the difficulty in diagnosing and maintaining the engineering machine in working spots and enhance the rush repair and maintenance abilities,the architecture of the engineering machine remote diagnosis and maintenance system(EMRDMS) was built using lineate and wireless transmitting protocol of network technique together with virtual instrument technology and so on.Based on this architecture,the EMRDMS was developed whose function module consisted of data acquisition and maintenance terminal,a team of maintenance engineering vehicle,maintenance factory,manufacturing factory and so on.The realization of the EMRDMS comprised four modules: remote fault diagnosis module,visible module,info-query module and data maintenance module.The results show that the EMRDMS can remotely detect the working condition of engineering machines,and provide maintenance measures for the service team such as fault diagnosis,technique query and video maintenance,and that it can effectively enhance the rush repair and maintenance abilities of the engineering machine in working spots.

Abstract:This article proposes an architecture of equipment remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system in view of the increasingly complex business logic and functional requirements of the current coal mine electromechanical equipment remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system. We established a loosely coupled Web service system by abstracting and dividing the business logic and functional requirements of the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system at different levels and different granularities. At the same time, we use the fault diagnosis model of multi-scale residual network and attention mechanism algorithm to verify the effectiveness of the fault diagnosis system.

Abstract:In order to improve the operating performance of mining dump trucks, reduce failure maintenance time and maintenance costs. A server-based vehicle-ground distributed fault diagnosis system is designed and implemented. The system is divided into two parts: the vehicle-mounted data acquisition subsystem and the ground fault diagnosis subsystem. The vehicle-mounted subsystem collects data through the CAN communication bus, performs digital filtering on it, and uses the 4G network to send the data to the ground server. The server has a MY SQL database and a BDD-based fault tree diagnosis algorithm to store and analyze the data. The real-time operating status of the mining dump truck is displayed on the display screen in an image, digital, and tabular manner. In addition, the system also has functions such as fault alarm, fault warning, vehicle information query, and parts management. Experimental verification shows that the system can realize real-time operation monitoring and fault diagnosis of mining dump trucks.

Abstract:This paper introduces an Ethernet-based online monitoring system and its application to rolling bearings of the nine fan sets. The design of the system is based on embeded system and field bus. The system has many advantages used in industry such as multi\|channel, network, practicability and high capability to cost ratio. With the operation of the system in practice for three years, the results show that the design of the system is successful and the system can be widely used for monitoring the condition of rotating machinery.

Abstract:The steam turboset is the key equipment of the electric power system. Thus, it is very important and necessary to monitor and diagnose the running condition and the faults of the steam turboset for the safe and normal running of the electric power system. In this paper, the Internet/Intranet based remote condition monitoring and fault diagnosis scheme is proposed. The corresponding technique and methods are discussed in detail. And a real application system is developed for the 300MW steam turboset. In this scheme, the system is built on the Internet/Intranet and the Client/Server construction and Web/Server model are adopted. The proposed scheme can guarantee real-time data acquisition and on-line condition analysis simultaneously. And especially, the remote condition monitoring and fault diagnosis can be implemented effectively. The developed system has been installed in a power plant of China. And the plant has obtained great economic benefits from it.

Abstract:As timely incipient fault diagnosis is the key to guarantee operation safety and suppress fault deterioration, this paper gives a review of data driven-based researches for incipient faults, which have low amplitude and may be covered by system disturbance and noise easily. Data driven-based incipient fault diagnosis can be divided into three parts, i.e., statistical analysis-based technology, signal processing-based technology, artificial intelligence-based technology. Their basic ideas, research progresses, application and limitations are discussed in detail. Furthermore, this paper not only points out the existing problems about complex systems, but also looks forward to the advance of this area by means of adding new information, mining unused implied information, using new mathematical tools. Finally, four thoughts worth exploring are proposed: diagnosis based on correlation analysis, multi-source information fusion, machine learning and time-frequency transform.

Abstract:Reliability of power converters is of crucial importance in switched reluctance motor drives used for safety-critical applications. Open-circuit faults in power converters will cause the motor to run in unbalanced states, and if left untreated, they will lead to damage to the motor and power modules, and even cause a catastrophic failure of the whole drive system. This study is focused on using a single current sensor to detect open-circuit faults accurately. An asymmetrical half-bridge converter is considered in this study and the faults of single-phase open and two-phase open are analysed. Three different bus positions are defined. On the basis of a fast Fourier transform algorithm with Blackman window interpolation, the bus current spectrums before and after open-circuit faults are analysed in details. Their fault characteristics are extracted accurately by the normalisations of the phase fundamental frequency component and double phase fundamental frequency component, and the fault characteristics of the three bus detection schemes are also compared. The open-circuit faults can be located by finding the relationship between the bus current and rotor position. The effectiveness of the proposed diagnosis method is validated by the simulation results and experimental tests.
