Abstract:The terminal ballistic model was established according to the classical empirical for-mula that commonly used at home and abroad.On the basis of this model,the numerical simu-lation was carried out and the simulation results agreed with experimental data,so that the cor-rectness of the model and the feasibility of the algorithm were validated.Then took the lethal area for the enemy combatant on the ground as the optimization goal,the charge structure, thickness of the shell and initiating conditions as optimization parameters,the constraint condi-tions of optimization variables determined by the design criterion of the projectile,the optimiza-tion model was established adopted genetic algorithm.The methods and results of the optimal design will provide reference for the design of whole trajectory of high explosive projectile.
