Abstract:With the analysis on regulating system in 200 MW steam turbine, the necessity of appending the fast-opening function to the original system is set forth and a new type of fast-opening mechanism is devised. The mathematical model of system is built up. With the use of AMESIM software, the displacement curve of the piston, the force curve of the cartridge valve spool, the pressure curve and the flux curve in the regulation process are obtained based on simulation. The performances of three fast-opening systems composed of cartridge valves with different diameters are compared. Based on the analysis on factors that affect the execution time of fast-opening, the dead zone of the fast-opening system is put forward. To overcome the defect, different operation modes are adopted for different zones. The result shows that with the increase of the valve diameter, the regulating time in the dead zone significantly exceeds the fast-opening time in the whole journey. Accordingly, the optimization operation tactic in the dead zone and the qualification conditions are brought forward. The fast-opening system composed of 32 mm cartridge valves is taken as an example with use of the tactic. The simulation result shows that the maximum regulating time is shortened by 509 ms.

Abstract:The key technology were introduced aboat the development of the water hydraulic valve.The valves were presented which were developed by zhejiang university.The working principle,structure characteristics,materials selection and results were respectively analyzed for these water hydraulic valve.The results show that these water hydraulic control valve possess good property.The life experiments were carried in normal condition,and the primary part aren't shattered.The performances of these water hydraulic control valve achieve the level of traditional control valve.

Abstract:This paper proposes a triple redundant safety system for steam turbine. The safety system has three independent electro-hyduaulic over-speed protection channels, and the output pressures are processed by a two out of three hydraulic voter. The voting result is then amplified by a plate-type hydraulic valve, which is of high response and reliability. Finally this amplified hydraulic signal is used to control the rapid-action-stop valve in the steam admission port of the turbine. 3figs., 2refs.

Abstract:A retrofit from mechanic-hydraulic regulation to electro-hydraulic regulation was realized in a 200 MW steam turbine regulating system.A quick-control function was actualized in virtue of original pilot valve mechanism.A mathematical model of the retrofit regulating system was set up using the hydraulic simulation software — Amesim.The internal leakages of oil servo motor,pilot slide valve and servo-proportional valve were studied respectively.The changes of parameters,i.e.regulating time,oil pressure,were compared under the conditions of different internal leakage slits.The influences of symmetrical and unsymmetrical internal leakages on the system performance were also analyzed.Simulation analysis gave a characteristic table to diagnose the internal leakages.With the use of the table,the internal leakage position and degree could be distinguished online through monitoring the changes of signals such as oil pressure and flux.The simulation shows that different internal leakage parts have different influences on the performance of the regulating system.The symmetrical internal leakages of both pilot slide valve and servo-proportional valve won't cause obvious change of oil pressure in the oil servo motor,but the unsymmetrical internal leakage will lead to great change of the oil pressure.

Abstract:Fastvalving of ultra-supercritical unit has great effects on over-speed prevention, load-shedding control, transient stability analysis of electrical system and other security problems. The purpose of fast valving is to maintain the stability of power system once fault or load shedding of unit occurs in the electric power system. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the reliability of fast valving for ultra-supercritical unit. In this paper, the KU (short shedding) logic condition of SIEMENS T3000 system is analyzed as the research object of fast valving. The unit can be avoided over speed by monitoring the unit load and fast valving under faulty grid conditions based on the KU control. A series of measures will be taken after KU is triggered, for instance the governing valving will be closed quickly and the DEH (digital electro-hydraulic) control of the steam turbine will be switched to speeding control mode. On the other hand, the unit will return to normal operation if the transient fault of power grid disappears. The key contributions of this thesis include three parts: Firstly, based on the analysis of control characteristics of ultra-supercritical unit and protective logic and triggered conditions of KU function, a novel dynamic model by coupling the fast valving of steam turbine and the transient stability of generator is established by applying the PSCAD software. Then, the dynamic response process of ultra-supercritical unit is simulated and calculated by adopting the coupling dynamic model when KU function is triggered. Also the influence factors and reliability of fast valving are analyzed under transient fault conditions. Finally, two optimized measures by increasing the time delay and the speed of quantitative judgment are put forward to reduce risks and avoid the misoperation of signal distortion which may be caused by the power transmitter under transient fault conditions. The results of this study can not only help to evaluate the reliability of fast valving function scientifically in power grid transient fault,but also guide the technicians to analyze the stability of the power grid.

Abstract:The dynamical characteristic of a periodical fast switch valve was investigated theoretically and by experiments. It has been found that the pressure transient created by the periodic valve switching has different features with those of one closure. Except for the flow velocity and the closure speed, the switching frequency influences greatly the intensity of pressure transient. To gain the insight into the fluid dynamic performance inside the hydraulic system, the nonlinear resonance initiated by the interaction of succeeding pressure transients has to be taken into consideration. The numerical obtained results also agree well with the measured one. The used simulation model therefore will be useful in further developmental work.

Abstract:The disadvantages of traditional hydraulic circuits regulating speed with a throttle or variable displacement are first analyzed;then. the advantages and development background of variable frequency hydraulic technology are introduced. This article pointed out that the variable frequency hydraulic system is an overall energy-saving system which can realize power match from the main power supply to execution mechanism. Development and application as well as the research situation of variable frequency hydraulic technology are described in detail. The problems in variable frequency hydraulic technology are discussed, which mainly involve low velocity stability, response time, startup or direction changing smoothness, velocity tracking precision and efficiency. Some kinds of solutions for these problems are presented. In the last part of the article, the developing prospect of variable frequency hydraulic technology is given.

Abstract:High voltage circuit breaker is an important interrupting device in a power system network. The operating mechanism is a key component of circuit breakers. The action of hydraulic operating mechanism in circuit breaker is different from general hydraulic mechanism for its high speed, short operating time and high pressure. In this paper, the working principle of hydraulic operating mechanism of 252kv high voltage circuit breaker is introduced. The high response speed solenoid pilot direction control valve is analyzed. The dynamic characteristic of the valve affects the performance of the hydraulic operating mechanism. Mathematical models of the valve and system have been developed. Simulations are carried out with AMESIM, hydraulic simulation software, and ANSOFT, electromagnetic simulation software. The characteristics of the operating mechanism control valve are discussed with the consideration of the influence of the geometry and environmental parameters. As the result of the research work, the simulation models and results provide the effectively theoretical guidance for the design and optimization of hydraulic operating mechanism.

Abstract:High-speed switching valves have been widely studied as pilot valves because of their advantages on easy digital control, low power loss, and non-sensitive to oil pollution. However, there are still lots of difficulties and problems between discrete flow and response time. In this article, two high-speed switching valves are used to pilot a three-way main stage valve. By adjusting the duty ratio of pulse width modulation control signals, the main stage can output continuous flow and pressure. The control performances of two pilot stage methods, which are high-speed switching valve and proportional valve, are compared through the theoretical analysis and the dynamic simulation. It is found that three factors directly affect the response time of the main stage, which are the control signal, the operating frequency of high-speed switching valve, and the pressure of the control chamber. The main valve can achieve better performance if optimized parameters are applied.

Abstract:As the most typical direct-loaded safety valves, spring-loaded safety valves are automatically opened by fluid pressure. Their stable and reliable dynamic characteristics are vital for overpressure protection. It is the last ditch to realize overpressure protection function in equipment, device and pipeline system. The steam spring-loaded safety valve applied under high parameter needs to carry out strict thermal test to determine whether its dynamic characteristics meet the requirements. However, there is no thermal test device that can meet the working condition parameters such as temperature and pressure in the supercritical working condition. Therefore, a dynamic numerical simulation model of high parameter steams spring-loaded safety valve was established. The dynamic simulation of steam spring-loaded safety valve opening and closing process was realized through dynamic grid technology and user-defined function. The results indicate that the errors between the numerical simulation and the test results for each parameter are less than 10 %. Under the test condition (10.16 MPa, 312.2.), the resultant force on the valve disc fluctuates greatly, but is always larger than zero during the opening process. This method will provide guidance for the research on the dynamic characteristics of spring-loaded safety valves under high parameter working conditions.
