Research on Cymbal Piezoelectric Transducer Arrays

Abstract:The hydrostatic piezoelectric properties of cymbal piezoeletric transducer uniform plane serials and parallels arrays were investigated．Cymbal piezoelectric transducer uniform plane arrays are characteristic of 1-3 piezoelectric composites connectivity structure．The key affecting the hydrostatic piezoelectric properties of cymbal transducer arrays is the matrix material linking cymbal transducer array units．This result was verified with experiments．The more flexible the matrix materials，the more closer the tested values and theoretical values．The effective hydrostatic piezoelectric coefficients and the figure of merits of cymbal transducer uniform plane parallels and serials arrays equal to that of one cymbal transducer element in the arrays．
