Abstract:In order to solve the seamless connection of various information platforms during enterprises' integration, a new solution based on Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) framework was designed for enterprise synthetic integration application. The solution adopted the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) technology and Component-Designed scheme to help enterprises achieve flexible configuration according to their requirements. The data could be commuted among schemes and the legacy or new system via eXtensible Markup Language (XML) Engine. The view layer was characterized by friendly user interface and convenient-operation through using the Java Server Pages (JSP) technology. The system could quickly deal with large amount of data because of the design was based on the plant data model core. All new features of the solution were validated in an application practice.

Abstract:The fast development of E-Commerce and information technology brings much higher requirements for enterprise informationization. Because of the differences in platforms, development languages and standards etc, enterprise application integration (EAI) has become the important form of enterprise informationization to support complex business processes. Web services have emerged as the next generation of integration technology which provides the power to support interoperability. However EAI doesn’t just present new interoperability challenges; it also presents serious privacy and security challenges. This paper presents security architecture of Web Services based EAI which uses distributed Single Sign On authentication and distributed Role-based Access Control authorization. The basic concept and prototype system of the security architecture are described in detail.

Abstract:The sharing and inner operating between different applications have become increasingly insistent demands in the process of implementing enterprise informationization. Firstly, the current situation of the existed information systems in the enterprise was analyzed. Secondly, the limitations of the traditional integration techniques were discussed. Thirdly, the advantage of Web services was described and an enterprise application integration framework based on Web services was presented. Abstract:Web service is becoming an important approach for enterprises to implement their business applications on Internet. However, most of Web services are built based on special business function, they are isolated and do not address the information communication for integrating the business processes. Abstract:With the deep-going exploitation of enterprise informationalization, the sharing and inter-operating between different applications have become the bottleneck of implementing enterprise informationalization. Through the analysis to current methods of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), a Web service based EAI architecture is proposed. The integration mechanism and model of Web service based EAI are provided to show how the Web service is used in EAI. Finally, an integration platform prototype system is developed, and a series of enabling services are provided to support the enterprise integration.

Abstract:The Web is based on a browsing paradigm that makes it difficult to retrieve compositive information from multiple sites. Web information integration systems,as a sophisticated solution to this problem,enable easy retrieval for comprehensive information from the Web. Based on a prototype we have implemented a Web information integration system,which is called Aoede. This paper introduces the design and implementation of the systems by analyaing many of its main issues,including architecture ,information resources ,wrapper,mediator ,query optimization and execution. Difficult problems are highlighted and respective possible solutions to them are also given.

Abstract:In enterprise environment, security becomes increasingly important and costly. Enterprises are struggling to protect the increasing amount of disparate resources. Simple patchwork of security controls no longer suffices. Enterprises require a comprehensive solution that provides centralized security management, from authentication, to authorization and to auditing. To this end, we present a design and implementation of an integrative security management solution for Web-based enterprise applications, WebDaemon. It provides Single Sign-On to multiple Web applications. It also provides restricted access to Web-based content, portals, and Web applications based on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies. The WebDaemon can help enterprises secure all Web resources with consistency of policy management and reduced administrative costs.

Abstract:Presently, resource sharing and integration within or cross enterprises (organizations) based on Web services, semantic Web and agents, are developing rapidly. However, different level of requirements of enterprise applications, and dynamic nature of Web services and application requirements, result in increasing complexities of management of Web services and related agents. This paper proposes a federated multi-agent system for autonomic Web services control. The main point of this paper is to propose an approach based on hierarchical architecture-oriented agent federations to control the internal cooperation and external coordination and transaction of Web services. In addition, an agent infrastructure to realize this system was developed and a simulated test was conducted successfully.

Abstract:There is a large number of information systems for public security bureau at present, most of which are challenged by difficulties of data-reuse, real-time sharing and cooperation of applications and so on. The paper introduces an integration platform for public security information resources, as well as its concrete operating procedures. This paper integrates systems for public security bureau from the four aspects of login, application, data and circuit, based on the service-oriented architecture （SOA）, the single sign-on technology of USB-key authentication based on agent and modeling technology of public security business based on JAVA message service （JMS） graphically. Now the service platform of public security information resources has a good practical value through the related tests, and plays an important role in police intelligence analysis.

Abstract:This paper focuses on a Web Services approach for synergetic management of heterogeneous spatial information and spatial services on the network. First, the importance of establishing an integrated framework for spatial information and spatial services is illustrated. The challenges posed by the spatial applications like digital cities include the business process integration among different organizations, the legacy applications integration and the integration of business Web services on Internet. The integrated framework meets these challenges. Secondly, a Web Service based interoperating framework among heterogeneous spatial databases and spatial services is proposed. Many utilities have been using the framework to integrate a variety of spatial databases, systems and business processes. The framework consists of four layers: WAL (Web Applications Layer), SIL (Services Integrator Layer), DSL (Distributed Services Layer) and DIL (Distributed Information Layer). Web applications access and operate the spatial information and the spatial Web services in DSL and DIL pellucidly using Toolkit packages and Web services provided by SIL. The spatial information exchange format in the framework is GML. All data and protocols are encoded in XML; one Web service can operate other Web services using SOAP protocol. Lastly, according to the framework, authors implement a system named PKU spatial Applications Integration System (π System) for spatial information and spatial services interoperation through the network using Java language.

Abstract:Recently, Web services have generated great interests in both vendors and researchers. Web services, based on existing Internet protocols and open standards, can provide a flexible solution to the problem of application integration. With the help of WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI, Web services are becoming popular in Web applications. However, the current Web services architectures are confronted with a few stubborn problems, for instance, security. In this paper, we shall give an overview of these problems. Abstract:Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) is one method to integrate and construct loose-coupling software systems. It turns the distributed enterprise applications and new systems into software service on Internet. Traditional enterprise application integrating (EAI) method cannot meet the requirements of operation flexibility, extensibility and loose-coupling integration. This paper proposes the function model of one service-oriented EAI platform (UAP) and its realization mechanism. By turning existing enterprise applications into one integrated system and distributing the services, UAP has provided one SOA based integrating platform for enterprise applications. The above model is implemented and validated in a J2EE application server to integrate the application systems of one group company. The experiments show that the model manifests high operation flexibility, scalability, loose-coupling character and low integrating workload.
