Abstract:This review paper covers several quality of service (QoS) models provided by Internet including IntServ, DiffServ and MPLS. It analyses the architecture and technological characteristics of each model. After an introduction of each model, this paper summarizes what QoS requests they can fulfill and how they implement these requests. It also describes the support of multicast in QoS models in brief. Based on these analytical studies, this paper proposes a total architecture of top-to-bottom, end-to-end QoS model, which takes full advantage of the virtues of the models described beforehand. This model has two prominent points: End-to-End QoS guarantee and flexible extensibility, which represent the trend for the future research of QoS.

Abstract:After detailed analysis of four IP QoS protocols under develop (RSVP, DiffServ, MPLS and SBM), it is found that , although each protocol can support QoS service in network, none of then can be solutions to end-to-end QoS in large scale network all by itself, Only the utilization of all four procotols can realize deterministic transmission of user traffic flow in WAN. From this on, an integrated architecture for end-to-end IP QoS service is given.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of P2P hierarchical architecture,QoS evaluation model for overlay network layer and application layer were proposed combined with P2P file-sharing system applications,and the overall QoS evaluation model was further formed.The simulation analyzed how the factors impact on the QoS,including the joining and leaving of nodes,node capabilities and uploading strategy,node,cache size,and node caching strategies and other.In addition,the heat of the file was also an important factor to influence system QoS.

Abstract:With the development of the Internet technologies and computer communication technologies, the traditionary circuit-switch based network must evolves to the new generation network which is based on the packet-switch technology. Facing the progress and status of the convergence of the three-networks, This document presents a distributed and SIP protocal based VoIP system prototype. Due to combinating of merits of SIP and IP, this model not only provides the interoperation with the existed network, but also provides an extendable plat for the NGN. This model uses private VoIP network to achieve the QoS.

Abstract:After the discussion of field research scientific significance,the system quality of service(QoS),reputation mechanisms and reputation incentive were reviewed respectively.Finally,the issue remains in this area were summarized after the overseas research review.After years of study,it has been some progress in the field of E-services reputation mechanism,the problem forced to be resolved are inconsistent definitions of trust,lack of feedback incentive,poor security of trust model,high complexity of trust model to achieve.Therefore,problems such as peer-to-peer(P2P) E-services QoS evaluation model,two-way trust model integrated with QoS and reputation incentives,trust model security,are becoming the focus and main direction of our future work.

Abstract:This paper describes an end-to-end QoS (Quality of Services) control model for distributed multimedia computing on enhanced Internet, and gives the design and implementation of this model including hosts and routers. The architecture, the mathematical definition about QoS parameters, and the mapping between Integrated Service (IS) and Differentiated Service (DS) are discussed in this paper. The simulation shows that this model can improve the performance of audio streams when it is used in IPhone system.

Abstract:Active queue management (AQM) is one of the main congestion control methods in IP network. In this paper we systematically analyze the architecture of the end-to-end congestion control schemes with AQM from the control-theoretic point of view. A transfer function of a simplified network's model is introduced. Based on the model, the configuration of RED and some other AQM algorithms are discussed. Finally we propose some future researches including the precision of network models and robustness of the control algorithms.

Abstract:IP QoS is the important bottleneck of Integrated Broad Band Network development but the active IP QoS architecture (such as IntServ, DiffServ, etc.) can't satisfy the users requirements commendably. So, our research would be a new explore about IP QoS architecture. Relying on currently network condition and next generation network development demand, we researched a sort of self-organizing IP QoS architecture based on adaptive edge control (QAAC) and presented its routing realization algorithms (called DSQR). This architecture can enhance network adaptive and scalable through the users's adaptive and self-organizing behaving. The simulation results show that QAAC and DSQR are effective and applied to provide preferable service. This will accommodate the next generation network development and application requirements much more.

Abstract:This paper proposed a sort of self-organizing IP QoS architecture based on adaptive edge control (QAAC) and presented its routing realization algorithms (called DSQR). In QAAC architecture, active probe would cooperate with passive regulate and artificial intelligencewould control the proportion of probe packets, chromosome packets and information packets, in order to provide effective QoS for users. This architecture can enhance network adaptive and scalable through the users's adaptive and self-organizing behaving and QAAC will coexistence with traditional best effort services and architectures. The simulation results show that QAAC and DSQR are effective and applied to provide preferable service. Abstract:As a complex network consisting of sensing, processing and communication, wireless sensor network is driven by various applications and highly requires new QoS (Quality of Service) guarantees. However, unlike traditional Internet, its unique characteristics have brought unprecedented challenges in the area of QoS research. First a hierarchical description (user level, network level and node level) and a comprehensive specification for QoS parameters are presented in this paper. Then the mapping relationship between QoS parameters is carefully analyzed. Finally, a hierarchical QoS architecture is proposed for systemic QoS support in wireless sensor networks.

Abstract:All the new emerging QoS architectures are motivated by the desire to improve the overall performance of an IP network. While the integrated services (IntServ) architecture provides a means for the delivery of end-to-end QoS, it is not scalable or practical to operate and manage. Differentiated services (DiffServ) defines a model for implementing scalable differentiation of QoS in the Internet, but it has the drawback of providing no guarantees. Multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) is a fast label-based switching technique that offers new QoS capabilities for large scale IP networks. When an MPLS network supports DiffServ, traffic flows can receive class-based network treatment that provides bases for QoS guarantees, and these guarantees come with better scalability and reduced complexity in comparison with IntServ. We describe a service architecture model where part of the underlying technology used for IP transport is MPLS using DiffServ-like mechanisms and constraint based routing for traffic engineering.

Abstract:Constructing Virtual Private Network (VPN) over public network infrastructure (Internet) is becoming the foundation of the next generation network service. At present, VPN mainly focuses on the security property, while it is lack of consideration of QoS. On the basis of analyzing the Differentiated Services (Diffserv) and IPsec, we put forward a QoS-based IP VPN Architecture Model which is a tri-tier model that is composed of ESN, ISN and VPN node. It combines encrypted channel mechanism of IPsec and the edge-and-core-model of Diffserv. It provides end-to-end QoS while assures security.

Abstract:Web services are becoming the favorable infrastructure supporting distributed computing on Internet. To address the challenges of Quality of Service (QoS) for web services, this paper presents a generic framework supporting QoS-enabled web services by introducing two mechanisms- QoS extraction and QoS mapping.
