Abstract:A way to realize Liu chaotic system based on DSP(digital signal processor) is introduced in this paper.We use TMS320F2812 and the digital-to-analog converting chip TLC7528C as our instrument.At first we have Liu system scattered to iteratively calculate it on DSP.The results are digital-to-analog converted and output to the oscillograph to get phase diagrams,which are compared with the results of Matlab simulation to testify the correctness of this method.Using this method,we can not only observe the phenomenon of chaos in digital circuits and apply it in real projects,but also have it work very well with other digital device,so as to make the theory of chaos more widely used in the future digital world.

Abstract:In the occasion of real-time requirements and harsh electromagnetic environments, currently adaptive filtering algorithm is most based on the DSP chip, using of Assembly Language and high-level language programming procedures, and the speed of processing and the performance of noise immunity are not match the requirement. LMS adaptive filter is a widely used digital signal processing algorithms. Due to the high flexibility and the high integrated of FPGA technology, this paper propose a LMS algorithm using FPGA technology to achieve it, and well used in adaptive filter, not only meet the needs of flexibility and real-time for systems, but also easy to implement, compared with other algorithms it is more simple and more reliable. It has good prospects in the field of signal processing.

Abstract:With the development of the computer technology and digital signal processing technology, virtual technology has become popular. Application of virtual technology in control domain is called virtual device. To verify the effect of the controller, on the basis of system model, the virtual device with approximate input-output characteristics is employed for the system's real-time simulation, achieving the aim of reducing on-spot debugging, enhancing controller's security and improving effect. This paper presents hardware and software designs of a virtual device using DSP chip-TMS320F240, TI Com. and verifies the simulation effect of virtual device through application example.

Abstract:A simplified decoding algorithm is presented and a LDPC decoder based on TMS320C6416DSP is implemented. Results show that the simplified algorithm can effectively decrease decoder complexity and cost and increase decoding speed and data throughput.

Abstract:Digital signal processor (DSP) algorithms are sets of rules that specifies the order and form of arithmetic operations that are used on specified sets of data. The implementation of these DSP algorithms is often very different from one application system to another because systems have, for example, different memory management policies and I/O handling mechanisms. This paper targets these algorithms and assists the reader with making the algorithms compliant with the TMS320 DSP algorithm standard which is part of TI's eXpressDSPTM technology initiative. Finally, the authors briefly introduced DSP architecture optimization for DSP algorithms.

Abstract:An improved decoding algorithm,which aims to reduce the decoding complexity of irregular low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes,is presented for implementation with digital signal processors(DSPs) with reduced computation complexity and low error floor.The algorithm uses the modified min-sum(MMS) algorithm for check node processing with the extrinsic information updated sequentially, so that it exhibits a low decoding threshold with a limited number of iterations,while reducing the node processing complexity and error floor.Tests with a fixed-point DSP show that the algorithm achieves a low error floor and low decoding threshold with low implementation complexity.

Abstract:In this paper, a novel four-dimensional memristive system is investigated to generate abundant dynamical behaviors. By Combining the Liu chaotic system with an ideal memristor, an enhanced chaotic system is proposed. Dynamical analysis indicates that the new system sustains stable chaotic states and exhibits complex behaviors, with the help of the Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagrams, Poincaré section, parametric offset boosting, and SE complexity. The coexistence of attractors is investigated by the variation of parameters. The chaotic performance is enhanced in the proposed system, broadens the range of parameters for chaotical oscillations, and transforms periodic and quasiperiodic states into chaos. The practical applicability and feasibility of the system are validated via NIST testing and DSP implementation. The system exhibits resilient dynamical characteristics that make it highly suitable for deployment in various domains, including secure communication and signal detection.

Abstract:In this paper, we present an optimized design method for high-speed embedded image processing system using 32 bit floating-point Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD). The DSP acts as the main processor of the system: executes digital image processing algorithms and operates other devices such as image sensor and CPLD. The CPLD is used to acquire images and achieve complex logic control of the whole system. Some key technologies are introduced to enhance the performance of our system. In particular, the use of DSP/BIOS tool to develop DSP applications makes our program run much more efficiently. As a result, this system can provide an excellent computing platform not only for executing complex image processing algorithms, but also for other digital signal processing or multi-channel data collection by choosing different sensors or Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converters.

Abstract:In this paper by use of Hardware Description Language (VHDL) and Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD), a design of the interface between TMS320VC33 and Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) is accomplished, and expatiate the methods that solve the problems of access timing conversion and conflict between access and refresh in detail. Using this interface TMS320VC33 can access Dynamic RAM as easy as access Static RAM. The capacity of DSP system memory is improved greatly by use of this interface, and the need of DSPs application in data acquisition and image processing is met. Because this interface is designed by VHDL and CPLD, it can be modified easily to interface with other microprocessors or buses.

Abstract:Based on CML estimation,a modified synchronization algorithm is proposed for IR-UWB system,which includes two improved schemes: Frame-level Noise Suppression(FNS) and Noise Template Cross-correlation Estimation(NTCE).Compared with original CML algorithm,the proposed algorithm enhances the noise suppression in the stage of noise template generation and parameter estimation.Both mathematical analysis and simulation indicate that each proposed scheme could achieve the expected optimization of performance.Besides,the paper also provides the circuit structure according to the proposed algorithm. The result of VLSI implementation will be presented at the end of this paper.

Abstract:A new method of designing image acquisition system driver based on DSP and CPLD is introduced.Aiming at the issues of low programming flexibility and slow data transmission speed in the existing image acquisition system,a reasonable solution is proposed by using CPLD and the PDT of TMS320C64x.The hardware interface circuit and part of the program on the DSP and CPLD is given.This method has been successfully applied in practical,and reduced the CPU overhead,improved the efficiency and adaptability of the system.

Abstract:In order to give full play to the advantages of software defined chip hardware architecture, this paper designs a configuration mechanism of software defined chip applied in the field of signal processing. Firstly, this paper designs the configuration line execution iteration of PE (Processing Element); Secondly, the iteration times of PE top layer are designed; Thirdly design the number of PEA (Processing element array) top-level iterations; Finally, the implementation of matrix multiplication algorithm is used to analyze the hardware design results. Through simulation, the results show that, compared with TI c66x DSP, the clock cycle required to execute the same algorithm is reduced from 15325 to 200; The power consumption is reduced from 1092 mW to 420 mW, and the processing speed and power consumption are better than those of TI c66x DSP.

Abstract:As the computing power of quantum computers continues to improve, the security of the mathematical problems on current cryptographic algorithm used today will be challenged. It is necessary to formulate the standard of post-quantum cryptographic algorithm. LAC is one of 26 candidates for the Round 2 of NIST PQC contest. In this paper, we implement the high-speed anti-SPA hardware implementation of security level 1. Finally, since our work is the first implementation of LAC on Zynq-7000, there is no preliminary comparison, so we have a horizontal comparison with implementation of the same type of algorithm NewHope-512.

Abstract:The problem of Doppler frequency shift (DFS) correction is one of the most important problems in the digital mobile communications. This paper discusses the Doppler corrected demodulation algorithm proposed in [1], and modifies some parts of the algorithm in the aspect of the hardware implementation, for example, the bandwidth of the receiver front filter, the way of the DFS correction and the digital post-processing part, etc. The modified algorithm has been realized on the TMS320C50 developing board. The results of the hardware experiments and computer simulations have shown that our modified algorithm is both effective and available.
