Abstract:The method and steps of making "Cell Engineering Experiment" multimedia CAI system were presented.The design and realization method for the main menu of this system based on accessibility framework model menu of Authoring software was described.The techniques of the video editing,video compression,dubbing and package of multimedia teaching software were also discussed.It may provide valuable reference for the making of multimedia teaching software in higher education.

Abstract:The multimedia CAI courseware of the optimum design in unit operation of chemical engineering was developed by using Authorware5.0. The courseware is made up of sound, images and animation, which also has good interaction function. The sound of courseware was recorded by Cool Edit 2000, which has function of recording unlimited length of sound and obtaining excellent quality sound effect. Animation of multimedia CAI courseware made by Flash5.0 was first transformed to avi format and then imported to Authorware with DirectMedia Xtra. The multimedia CAI courseware was used for students in the course design and greatly enhanced the quality of course design.

Abstract:Taking the CAI courseware of atmospheric photochemical smog developed by us for example, we discuss the importance and necessity to use computer technology in the teaching of environmental chemistry as well as the importance for the development of CAI(Computer Assisted Instruction)courseware.The idea and the methods and process to design CAI are also introduced in this paper.On the basis of collecting a lot of knowledge and background of atmospheric photochemical smog,and movie,pictures and music for the CAI design, we develop the CAI courseware for the teaching atmospheric photochemical smog.We employ flash technology completely for the whole courseware.So it makes the user interface friendly.It is shown that this courseware is easy to link and run and can be used both in classroom and network teaching.

Abstract:In order to help students to obtain more vivid understanding of clinical anesthesia operation and to adapt to the multi-media teaching trend of the times, we use the computer, its related network technology and multimedia educational software to develop a courseware called CAI focusing on clinical anesthesia technique and to improve the popularity and universality of clinical anesthesiology in medical education. The development of CAI courseware should reflect its own characteristics and innovation, which needs good hardware and software support with its goals of boosting students’ learning enthusiasm and improving the learning effect.

Abstract:Aim: To study and develop CAI software of the course "Programming in C". Methods: Taking visual Basic 6.0 and Access database etc., comprehensively applying multimedia technology, such as text, graph, animation and voice, the applied software "Programming in C" has been developed. Results: The multimedia CAI software is designed. Both the teachers and students can get help from it. It can offer flexible interaction. Its maintenance functions will be an useful tool if users want to enhance the software. Conclusion: CAI software can be used in teaching procedure. It may contribute to the improvement of teaching.

Abstract:The development,main content and use of Fundamental Circuit Analysis CAI courseware are introduced in this paper.The CAI courseware is consist of five parts: electron-version teaching plan,experiment,computer aided analysis and simulation,imitation test,and brief introduction of famous persons in electricity.The electron-version teaching plan is produced using Power Point,with FLASH MX animations.The experiments are display by web page.The computer aided analysis software are programmed using Matlab and the simulations are showed using PSpice.The imitation test is made using VB and SQL Server database.The brief introduction of famous persons in electricity is showed in Word document.The CAI course ware has rich information and is very helpful for teachers and students.
