Effect of Amino—Silane KH—792 on the Structure and Properties of Starch/SBR Composites

Abstract:The amino-silane KH—792 was used to prepare starch/SBR composites by two ways,dry mixing(method Ⅰ)and wet mixing(methodⅡ).The effect of the loading of KH—792 on the curing characters,mechanical properties and morphology of the composites prepared by the two methods was studied.The results showed that the reactions of KH—792 were different in the two kinds of composites,especially embodied in the curing characters,however the mechanical properties of the composites were improved to a certain extend;the stress of the composites prepared by method I was higher,while the tensile strength and the tear strength of the composites were higher when the method Ⅱwas introduced.SEM showed that the composites prepared by methodⅡhad more fine disperse phase and higher interfacial strength.
