Abstract:A good hydration status is important to the exercise performance and cognitive function of exercisers.The effective restoration of fluid balance after exercise is helpful to prevent dehydration,maintain body fluid balance,accelerate fatigue recovery,and enhance exercise performance.As the most effective sports nutrition supplement,sports beverage has different ingredients and formulas,and also has various effects.To provide clues for the development of sports beverage,this article reviews the types,components,effects,and mechanisms of sports beverage currently used in post-exercise fluid restoration.

Abstract:With the development of sports nutrition, creatine, as a sports nutrition supplement, has shown remarkable effects in improving sports performance, strengthening muscle strength and endurance. In this paper, creatine's physiological effects and the mechanism of use, side effects and safety studies, the impact on sports performance, the application in athletes and the collocation of daily nutrition intake were reviewed. Studies have shown that creatine supplements improve athletes' performance in short bursts of high-intensity exercise by increasing creatine phosphate storage in muscles. Although creatine supplements are considered safe in most cases, further research is needed on the effects of side effects and dosages. Future research is needed to explore the optimal use of creatine, its use in specific populations, and its combination and intake with other nutrients.

Abstract:In recent years, the increase in public awareness of sports has greatly promoted the development of the sports food industry. Sports food provides nutrition to meet the metabolic and energy needs of sports people. The nutritional components of sports food can be divided into basic nutrients and functional factors. Basic nutrients refer to the nutrients or metabolites required by the human body. Functional factors are bioactive ingredients that have potential effects in improving functions of the human body, such as protection of articular cartilage and improving muscle quality. Currently, there are various forms of sports foods in the market, including sports drinks, solid sports foods, semi-solid sports foods, and sports nutrition supplements. The sports food industry has seen many opportunities such as the expanding market, manufacturing technology development, and increasing funds investment. However, it also faces many challenges, such as lack of innovation, insufficient in-depth research, risks, and safety issues. This review would provide theoretical guidance for current sports food manufacture to meet the needs of increasing sports people worldwide.

Abstract:Physical exercise can induce depletion of internal energy substrates and changes in internal environment homeostasis,thus influencing exercise ability and performance.The ingestion of appropriate supplements can supply energy substances and maintain internal environment homeostasis.The paper reviewed the beneficial effects of beta-alanine,nitrate,polyphenol,and multi-ingredient performance supplements on enhancing exercise ability,reducing oxygen cost,reducing muscle damage,and so on,in order to offer more choices to athletes.

Abstract:This study aims to analyze the role of nutrients in food in improving athletic performance and to understand the feasibility of food supplementation in sports training. Twenty athletes were randomly divided into two groups, A and B. The athletes in the two groups had the same diet and the same training content and differed only in the supplemented food. Group A was supplemented with Siraitia grosvenorii water, and Group B was supplemented with pure water. After 3 months of training, the body composition, exercise status, and blood indexes of the athletes in the two groups were compared. Compared with the athletes in group A before the experiment as well as in group B after the experiment, the athletes in group A showed a significant increase in fat-free weight, improved athletic performance, increased levels of hemoglobin (Hb) and red blood cell (RBC), and decreased levels of blood lactic acid (BLA) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) (P < 0.05). Nutrients in food can effectively improve the body composition and exercise status of athletes and inhibit the decrease of Hb and RBC as well as the increase of BLA and BUN, which have good usability in sports training.

Abstract:The aim of this study was to review the impacts of nutritional supplement creatine on explosive force and anti-fatigue ability of athletes. The high-intensity exercises will cause sports fatigue and the improvement of antifatigue ability and elimination of fatigue will directly affect the completion of training plan. Vitamins and minerals, proteins, health foods and energy drinks etc. nutrition supplements have been widely accepted by athletes and coaches in China for a long time. The sports practices showed that the creatine plays an important role to human body, especially in strengthening the explosive force and anti-fatigue ability of athletes. This study mainly discusses how athletes and coaches supplement creatine in a correct way and whether there is a certain side effects if taking creatine for a long term.

Abstract:In order to explore how sports drinks can achieve weight loss control and lipid metabolism in college students, the author proposes an experiment based on weight loss control and lipid metabolism in college students. This experiment recommends key technical problems and solutions based on information represented by college students' weight loss control, a study exploring how sports drinks can achieve weight loss control in college students. Research has shown that Jupu sports drink is more suitable than 87% of sports drinks on the market for college students to lose weight. Sports drinks have a positive effect on maintaining a high blood sugar level during exercise and have a certain antifatigue effect in mass fitness. Jupu sports drink not only has the effect of other sports drinks but also has a certain effect on weight loss control.

Abstract:An increasing number of studies in the field of sports science show that Chinese medicinal herbs,which may be applied in functional foods and sports nutrition supplements,has been gained extensive attention and recognition all over the world.However,the mechanisms by which sports nutrition supplements with Chinese medicinal herbs(SNSCMH) accelerate the recovery of fatigue and improve the sports performance are still ambiguous or unclear.This review focuses on the latest literature published after the year of 2000,and summarizes SNSCMH from 5 aspects: 1).the commonly used medicinal ingredients and SNSCMH recipes;2).the experimental design of SNSCMH;3).the anti-fatigue mechanisms of SNSCMH;4).the immuno-enhancing mechanisms of SNSCMH;5) the anti-oxidant signaling pathways of SNSCMH for enhancing immunity.We hope that this review will provide creative thoughts regarding SNSCMH.

Abstract:The aim of this study is to review the role of branched-chain amino acids in competitive sports. The data in the existing literature indicated that winning the game not only depends on development of experience and physical ability but also synergetic efforts in such disciplines as physiology, psychology, nutrition, biology, material and athletic training. Only by considering the subjective and objective conditions comprehensively, can athletes constantly break their limits in competitive abilities. Among various measures and methods improving the sports performance, nutrition regulation is the one preferred by athletes and coaches. The supplement Branched-Chain Amino Acid (BCAA for short) has remarkable effects on rapidly relieving fatigue, replenishing energy and enhancing physical abilities after athletes’ high-speed and fiercely comprehensive sports. In view of this, this study makes a review on application prospects of BCAA in competitive sports, in hopes of providing theoretical references for analysis on nutritional supplements in athletic sports.
Effects of Anti-fatigue Sports Beverages Individualized Supplementation on Blood Glucose and Physical Performance Recovery in Sportsman

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of anti-fatigue and enhance recovery sports nutriments on exercise performance,and to probe into the mechanism on individualized nutrition in athlete.Methods after trained for one hour with fixed exercise-load,12 male healthy college students who majored for martial arts,that were supplemented individual two anti-fatigue and accelerated recovering sports drinking in double blind and under own controled.Results The concentration of blood glucose rised up most obviously,when subjects ingested sports beverages after 30min or 60min,and there were significant difference between high concentration sports beverages and low concentration sports beverages;The RPE test were no significant difference in all sorts of sports beverages,as D1,D2,D3 and D4;The recovery of heart rate after ingested high concentration beverages were more faster than low concentration(P0.05);The results of 12 min fitness test were no significant difference in all sorts of sports beverages,as D1,D2,D3 and D4.Conclusion After trained with fixed exercise-load,the blood glucose respond and recovery of heart rate were facilitated when subjects ingested Competitor vigor powderTM and Metagenics pro-optimizerTM,moreover,The high concentration beverage were more effective.But there were no significant difference betweenCompetitor vigor powderTMand Metagenics pro-optimizerTM

Abstract:Sports can cause the consumption of energy materials in the body. The rational use of nutritional supplements can maintain the homeostasis of the organism, which plays a very important role in improving the competitive performance of sports athletes. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of nutritional supplements on basketball sports fatigue. The method of this study is as follows: first of all, 15 basketball players in our city were selected as the experimental objects, and they were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The members of the experimental group took nutrients. After the training, 6 days a week, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, and the rest was adjusted on Sunday. Before training, four weeks and eight weeks of training, the blood routine indexes and body functions of athletes were tested. The results showed that the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin concentration, and average hemoglobin concentration of ligustilide supplement of the athletes were at the level of 0.05 after 4 weeks and 8 weeks, and the difference was significant ( P < 0.05 ). The nutritional supplements were used in sprint (3.4 s less), long-distance running (12.8 s less), and weight lifting (6.2 kg more) to a certain extent. Nutritional supplements are used as an auxiliary means of diet to supplement the amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, minerals, etc. required by the human body. The conclusion is that nutrition supplement can effectively improve the indexes of athletes’ body in about four weeks, but the effect is not obvious after a long time. This study provides a certain method for the research of nutritional supplements in the field of sports.

Abstract:In order to research on the influences of nutrition supplements on sports anemia athletes' erythrocyte zinc protoprophyrin and serum ceruloplasmin,the experiments of nutrition intervention on sports anemia athletes are made and erythrocyte zinc protoprophyrin and serum ceruloplasmin are tested.In this way, the effects of nutrition intervention on sports anemia are researched.The results are as follows.The effects of nutrition intervention on sports anemia which is caused by intense exercises are obvious.Nutrition intervention obviously reduce erythrocyte zinc protoprophyrin and serum ceruloplasmin,which shows that nutrition supplements chosen in the experiment obviously improve athletes' iron reservoir,treat iron decompensation caused by sports training,and treat and prevent sports anemia.
