Abstract:Sports can cause the consumption of energy materials in the body. The rational use of nutritional supplements can maintain the homeostasis of the organism, which plays a very important role in improving the competitive performance of sports athletes. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of nutritional supplements on basketball sports fatigue. The method of this study is as follows: first of all, 15 basketball players in our city were selected as the experimental objects, and they were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The members of the experimental group took nutrients. After the training, 6 days a week, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, and the rest was adjusted on Sunday. Before training, four weeks and eight weeks of training, the blood routine indexes and body functions of athletes were tested. The results showed that the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin concentration, and average hemoglobin concentration of ligustilide supplement of the athletes were at the level of 0.05 after 4 weeks and 8 weeks, and the difference was significant ( P < 0.05 ). The nutritional supplements were used in sprint (3.4 s less), long-distance running (12.8 s less), and weight lifting (6.2 kg more) to a certain extent. Nutritional supplements are used as an auxiliary means of diet to supplement the amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, minerals, etc. required by the human body. The conclusion is that nutrition supplement can effectively improve the indexes of athletes’ body in about four weeks, but the effect is not obvious after a long time. This study provides a certain method for the research of nutritional supplements in the field of sports.

Abstract:The use of natural or conventional-based supplementation has become a popular strategy among athletes seeking to reduce oxidative stress, improve recovery, and enhance athletic performance. This literature review searched four reputable international electronic databases, including PubMed, MedRxiv, Cochrane, and Clinical Trial.gov until December 2021, using Boolean operators with keywords and Mesh methods. The keywords used were "Supplementation", AND "Muscle Fatigue Recovery", AND "Athletes", which yielded 24 articles as study findings. The literature review found that exhaustive exercise can induce a neutrophil antioxidant response by increasing antioxidant enzymes. Nutritional supplements, specifically antioxidant supplements, Branched Chain Amino Acid (BCAA), citrulline, omega-3, and caffeine, have been scientifically proven to reduce oxidative damage, which can block signaling pathways related to muscle hypertrophy. In order to combat muscle fatigue in athletes based on this research (literature review), natural ingredients and synthetic nutritional supplements have been utilized as dietary interventions. This literature review identified numerous natural micronutrients and synthetic supplements used in sports that possess anti-fatigue properties, decrease oxidative stress and enhance athletes' endurance capacity. The effectiveness of nutritional supplements in addressing muscle fatigue may vary based on the various ingredients in the supplements. However, natural-based supplements have become a preferred option among athletes and coaches currently.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: With the continuous development of running, great changes have occurred in training media, equipment, and training concepts. Running fatigue and recovery have increasingly become the direction of research by scientists worldwide. Objective: In this paper, the mechanism, causes, and measures of biological recovery in athletes during training are discussed. Method: The effects of different interventions on athletes' recovery after training were analyzed through protocoled experiments. Effective methods of fatigue recovery were presented. The study compared the variables of the sprinter's morning heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, CK, BUN, RPE, and other indicators to understand the recovery of middle and long-distance runners after training. Results: Recovery measures are effective when combined with exercise training based on the fatigue mechanism. Conclusion: Subjective sensory, physiological, and biochemical indicators are used to judge the intensity of fatigue in exercise training, and the fatigue recovery phase of exercise training is an important item to consider during training activities. Abstract:Fatigue, characterised by lack of energy, mental exhaustion and poor muscle endurance which do not recover following a period of rest, is a common characteristic symptom of several conditions and negatively impacts the quality of life of those affected. Fatigue is often a symptom of concern for people suffering from conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, and multiple sclerosis. Vitamins and minerals, playing essential roles in a variety of basic metabolic pathways that support fundamental cellular functions, may be important in mitigating physical and mental fatigue. Several studies have examined the potential benefits of nutrients on fatigue in various populations. The current review aimed to gather the existing literature exploring different nutrients' effects on fatigue. From the searches of the literature conducted in PubMed, Ovid, Web of Science, and Google scholar, 60 articles met the inclusion criteria and were included in the review. Among the included studies, 50 showed significant beneficial effects (p < 0.05) of vitamin and mineral supplementation on fatigue. Altogether, the included studies investigated oral or parenteral administration of nutrients including Coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine, zinc, methionine, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), and vitamins C, D and B. In conclusion, the results of the literature review suggest that these nutrients have potentially significant benefits in reducing fatigue in healthy individuals as well as those with chronic illness, both when taken orally and parenterally. Further studies should explore these novel therapies, both as adjunctive treatments and as sole interventions.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Skiing is a sport that demands the high performance of motor coordination with high energy consumption, factors that strongly influence muscle fatigue. Athletes who experience this phenomenon tend to present a decline in performance, generating psychological irritability and impairment in concentration. Diet is closely related to athletic performance, but the proper prescription for skiing athletes still lacks studies. Objective: To explore the methods of recovery from sports fatigue in skiers by providing up-to-date perspectives for effective nutritional intervention during the recovery stage. Methods: Seven young male skiers were selected as research subjects, and caloric intake, among other conditions, was recorded in detail. After three weeks, indices of body weight, body fat rate, serum metabolism, cardiopulmonary capacity, and energy metabolism, among other relevant information, were duly recorded and compared. Results: The intervention did not significantly impact lean body mass indices (p>0.05). The athletes’ body weight decreased significantly, and the body fat rate decreased significantly after the nutritional intervention; The analyzed biomarkers were positively impacted, except the urea nitrogen concentration that showed a tendency to increase after the nutritional intervention, an effect that may be linked to the proportional increase of protein intake. Conclusion: The proposed nutritional intervention positively impacted the skiers’ energy metabolism, directly impacting the athletes’ recovery from sports fatigue. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.

Abstract:Aim. The purpose of the article is to review domestic and foreign literature sources for obtaining the up-to-date data concerning fatigue and overfatigue in athletes and searching the priority markers for the up-to-date diagnosis of these conditions. Results. Currently there is no unified approach to the notion of “fatigue”. Many foreign researchers have attached importance to differentiating fatigue into: fatigue being the result of exceeding functional abilities, which contributes to supercompensation, and non-functional overfatigue leading to a consistent decrease in work performance. At present, the diagnostic criteria for recognizing these conditions have not been determined. It makes difficult to correct physical loads that may result in possible overtraining. The differential tests for fatigue and overtraining diagnostics have not also been developed. The modern diagnostics of athletes’ functional fitness is based on biochemical, physiological, and psychophysiological methods. The subjective self-assessment performed by an athlete has been considered as of great importance. It is impossible to increase physical activity without fatigue so the further investigations to extend understanding of fatigue formation mechanisms have become extremely urgent. It will help to develop new diagnostic and rehabilitation technologies. Conclusion. The increasing intensity of physical loads in professional sports results in fatigue and overfatigue that reduce training effectiveness. The reliable diagnostic criteria and differential tests for the timely recognition of fatigue, overfatigue and overtraining have not been developed yet.

Abstract:Background: The psychobiological state known as mental fatigue (MF) is by engaging in mentally taxing activities for an extended period, which is typically found in team sports, of the high cognitive demand and unpredictable environment. It increases the perception of effort and influences executive functions, impairing sport-specific performance in athletes. However, the consequences of MF on sport-specific motor performance (SSMP) among athletes in team sports remain unclear. Objective: This scoping review seeks to find and map research publications that investigate the effect of MF on SSMP in team sports. Methods: Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed were searched as the main databases, and CENTRAL, Psychology, and Behavioral Sciences Collection, SPORTDicus obtained from EBSCOhost, as well as gray literature was searched for relevant literature and Google Scholar. Cognitive tasks before the SSMP exam are the focus of the selected literature on mental exhaustion. Only experiments testing mental and non-mental exhaustion were chosen. Results: Twelve studies fulfill the requirement of selection criteria. SSMP in team sports, including soccer, basketball, cricket, and Australian football mainly is examined as physical and technical performance. More specifically, MF significantly influenced physical performance measured as intermittent endurance and total distance ( P < 0.05), while data was inclusive when assess in an ecological setting (e.g., small-sided game) ( P > 0.05). Technical performance was mainly measured as ball loss, errors in passing and shooting, interception, and successful tackle and showed a dramatic impairment ( P < 0.05). The decline of physical activity is relevant with higher level PRE, while decreased technical performance is related to impaired attention resources shown as visual perceptual. Conclusion: MF adversely influences SSMP in team sports. The most relevant theory for future study to examine the impacts of MF on team-sport athletes could be the psychological model of exercise and its potential extension on attention resources, rather than the traditional "catastrophe" theory.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of fat metabolism and weight loss of college students, this paper puts forward a problem of the influence of sports energy drinks. Energy drink is a combination of sports drinks, energy drinks, and other special functional drinks (such as nutrient drinks with added vitamins and minerals; herbal drinks with Chinese herbal ingredients), a general term for a large category of drinks that provide specific health and nutritional functions for special groups of people. With the continuous improvement of people's consumption level and their constant attention to their own health, the consumption of energy drinks is also increasing. Energy drinks have become a new generation of drinks after carbonated drinks, drinking water, fruit and vegetable juice, and tea. At present, the total annual output of beverages in the world exceeds 300 billion liters, and functional beverages have become the fastest growing beverage varieties. Fat is the main energy supply material for endurance sports. The catabolism of fat during sports is the key link for the body to obtain energy. For the general population, abnormal fat metabolism is the main cause of obesity. In this paper, 10 healthy male and female college students without training experience were used to determine the maximum fat metabolism intensity FATmax. Based on this, the exercise prescription of maximum fat oxidation intensity for 8 weeks was formulated. The functional ability, maximum oxygen uptake, body fat percentage, quiet heart rate, blood pressure, and vital capacity before and after the experiment were measured to observe the exercise effect. The fitness effect of maximum fat metabolism intensity was studied to provide theoretical support for college students' fitness exercise. The study found that there was no significant difference between boys and girls in the maximum fat oxidation rate and FATmax, and girls' E. C. and running speed corresponding to FATmax were significantly lower than those of boys. After 8 weeks of exercise prescription exercise of maximum fat metabolism intensity, the E. C. and maximum oxygen uptake of boys and girls increased significantly; quiet heart rate, vital capacity index, and body fat percentage were significantly improved; and the changes in girls were more significant than boys. The results show that there is no gender difference in FATmax. The corresponding exercise intensity (7.22 METs for boys and 5.25 METs for girls) and running speed (9.73 km/h for boys and 8.65 km/h for girls) can be used as a reference for formulating college students' fitness exercise prescriptions. The fitness exercise prescription based on FATmax can improve cardiopulmonary function and body composition, especially for girls. FATmax can be used as a reference standard for formulating fitness exercise prescriptions.

Abstract:Objectives: To investigate the effects of multivital supplement on physical overtraining young males who were on ordinary Chinese diet, and the suitable time of using mulvital on young males to dispel fatigue. Methods: 240 young male volunteers after thousand meters running were randomly divided into group A (mulvital was first given, then placebo) and group B (placebo was first given, then mulvital). Medical history, physical examination, the Fatigue Assessment Scale, as well as hormone axises and cellular immune parameters were evaluated after high-intensity training program. Results: The recovery of pituitary-adrenal axis and immune system of the mulvital group were significantly better than the placebo group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of the pituitary-gonadal axis and fatigue scale score between two groups were observed. The pituitary-thyroid axis and symptom check list score of the medication group were significantly better than the placebo group after the intervention using the mulvital (P<0.05). Conclusions: Our research confirmed that the use of mulvital is beneficial for the recovery of pituitary-adrenal function, pituitary thyroid function, immune function, and psychological status. The earlier application of mulvital is better for the recovery.

Abstract:The deleterious effects of mental fatigue (MF) on athletes have been carefully studied in various sports, such as soccer, badminton, and swimming. Even though many researchers have sought ways to ameliorate the negative impact of MF, there is still a lack of studies that review the interventions used to counteract MF among athletes. This review aims to report the current evidence exploring the effects of interventions on MF and sport-specific performance, including sport-specific motor performance and perceptual-cognitive skills. Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and SPORTDicus (EBSCOhost) were combed through to find relevant publications. Additionally, the references and Google Scholar were searched for any grey literature. For the current review, we included only randomized controlled trials that involved athletes, a primary task to induce MF, interventions to counter MF with comparable protocols, and the outcomes of sport-specific motor performance and perceptual-cognitive skill. The selection criteria resulted in the inclusion of 10 articles. The manipulations of autonomous self-control exertion, person-fit, nature exposure, mindfulness, and transactional direct current stimulation showed that positive interventions counteract MF and improve sport-specific performance in different domains, including strength, speed, skill, stamina, and perceptual-cognitive skills. The selected interventions could significantly counteract MF and improve subsequent sport-specific performance. Moreover, self-regulation and attention resources showed the importance of the potential mechanisms behind the relevant interventions.

Abstract:Purpose In order to explore the athletes'mental fatigue related factors,in the hope that through this article caused the domestic coaches and athletes to the psychological fatigue problem enough attention,grasp the causes and countermeasures of athletic psychological fatigue,help to better our athletes in training and competition.Methods This study used questionnaire and the Athlete Burnout Questionnaire,the sport motivation scale of 102 athletes were investigated.Through SPSS19.0 software for data analysis.Results Age,professional sports life of athletes,sports level and the athletes'mental fatigue situation has significantly positive correlation(P<0.01;P<0.01;P<0.001);Athletes avoidance tendency and the athletes'mental fatigue three dimensions showed significantly negative correlation(P<0.01),and the sport motivation can effectively predict athletes'mental fatigue state squared(R2=0.26).Conclusion Factors including age,fixed number of year of the professional athletes affect athletes'mental fatigue,the sport motivation can significantly predict athletes'mental fatigue.

Abstract:In order to explore how sports drinks can achieve weight loss control and lipid metabolism in college students, the author proposes an experiment based on weight loss control and lipid metabolism in college students. This experiment recommends key technical problems and solutions based on information represented by college students' weight loss control, a study exploring how sports drinks can achieve weight loss control in college students. Research has shown that Jupu sports drink is more suitable than 87% of sports drinks on the market for college students to lose weight. Sports drinks have a positive effect on maintaining a high blood sugar level during exercise and have a certain antifatigue effect in mass fitness. Jupu sports drink not only has the effect of other sports drinks but also has a certain effect on weight loss control.

Abstract:Objective: To observe the supplement of sugar drinks,whey protein,branched-chain amino acids and other substances on the stage of the heavy load training to maintain or improve physical function and fatigue recovery.Methods: Arranged 10 athletes in the 30d Sanda physical training phase of the winter training stage,according to the nutritional supplement program for energy supplement,Selected the indexes of the output of the total body anaerobic power,maximum power,fatigue index,a ability to pull oxygen paddle time,power,paddle frequency,biochemical indicators of blood lactate(LA) blood urea nitrogen(BUN),glucose(GL),creatine kinase(CK) as the observation,Alternative 10 teammates as the control group,and observed the different before and after the training.Results: The total output power,maximum power after the training had significantly increased(P <0.01) than before added of the observed team.Compared with the control group after added the athletes fatigue index and the paddle frequency was also improved significantly(P <0.05),and after-school training blood glucose levels also had significantly increased(P <0.05).The blood BUN and the recovery had significant improvement(P <0.001) more than the control groups after added whey protein,branched-chain amino acids.Conclusion: The training period added sugar,whey protein,branched-chain amino acids and substances such as energy,could significantly improve the athlete's aerobic capacity and anaerobic exercise performance,could significantly delayed the occurrence of exercise-induced fatigue and accelerate recovery of the exercise-induced fatigue.
