Abstract:The paper reviews city color planning practice, establishes a color planning compilation system including master plan, regulatory plan, and renovation plan. Master plan raises general orientation and defines keynote and spectrum of the city; regulatory plan divides the city into a certain number of districts, and controls colors of dif erent building types; renovation plan puts forwards implementation suggestions of key areas. The paper practices the above approach in Luoyang city color planning compilation.
