Microbiology and New Technology of Biological Phosphorous Removal

Abstract:In this paper,the microbiology,molecular biology and biochemical dynamics of phosphorous accumulating organisms as well as influencing factors of biological phosphorous removal are summarized.Some new technologies,which have good phosphorus and nitrogen removal effect in adverse conditions,and the optimization of biological phosphorous removal are further discussed.The(collection,)reclamation and hereditary modification of phosphorous accumulating organisms will promote further development of efficient(processes.) In addition,the recovery,reuse and recycle of phosphorus will be frontier research fields in the future.
