The Development of Higher Education Quality Research in China from the Review of Metrics

Abstract:Higher education quality is an important part of education quality in China,whose research level reflects higher education quality of China.The questions of what development stages higher education quality has gone through,what research topics it has been discussed,what problems it still has,are worthy of research.This paper uses content analysis,coGoccurrence analysis in informetrics and statistical methods to analyze time,j ournals,institutions,authors,and topics distributions of higher education quality papers downloaded from CNKI during 1982-2013.The results show that internal and external communication need to be strengthened to ensure a sustainable and healthful development of higher education quality.
