Abstract:With the rapid development of modern medical sciences, pain medicine has become a key force in the field of health care, and nerve block therapy is an important method of clinical diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pain at home and abroad. Ulnar nerve block can be used for treating pain management of trauma and operation of ulnar nerve innervation area, as well as for diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain diseases. In recent years, the extensive application of ultrasound visualization technology has significantly improved the safety and effectiveness of ulnar nerve block. This consensus referred to a large number of literatures, absorbed the new concepts, methods and technologies reported in recent years, and strived to familiarize readers with the anatomical structure of ulnar nerve, clarify the indications of ulnar nerve block, and master puncture techniques skillfully, in order to minimize pain and improve the life quality of patients.
