Abstract:In this paper we establish some results on the increments of a d-dimensional Gaussian process with the usual Euclidean norm. In particular we obtain the law of iterated logarithm and the Book-Shore type theorem for the increments of a d-dimensional Gaussian process, via estimating upper bounds and lower bounds of large deviation probabilities on the suprema of the d-dimensional Gaussian process.

Abstract:In this paper, the authors study the limit behavior on the increments of multi-parameter Gaussian process with stationary increments under some weaker conditions, via Slepian's lemma and large deviation probabilities on the Gaussian process with stationary increments. Csorgo et a1.(1994) studied moduli of continuity of Y(.) when it is an l(infinity)-valued process under the condition that sigma(*2)(h)/h(alpha) is quasi-increasing for some alpha > 0. In this paper we establish the large increment result for the l(infinity)-valued process Y(.).

Abstract:For the superior limit of the incremental supremum of the 2-parameter Wiener process, there have already been very general results corresponding to that of 1-parameter Wiener process. However, the research on the inferior limit seems not to be deeply made up to now. This paper aims at getting a theorem about this problem under weaker conditions. And a conclusion corresponding to one-parameter case leads to a kind of generalization of the existing result.

Abstract:We establish the exact moduli of non-differentiability of Gaussian random fields with stationary increments. As an application of the result, we prove that the uniform Holder condition for the maximum local times of Gaussian random fields with stationary increments obtained in Xiao (1997) is optimal. These results are applicable to fractional Riesz-Bessel processes and stationary Gaussian random fields in the Matern and Cauchy classes.

Abstract:We establish moduli of continuity and large increment properties for stationary increment Gaussian processes in order to study the path behavior of infinite series of independent Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes. Abstract:This paper studies the global and local properties of the trajectories of Gaussian random fields with stationary increments and proves sufficient conditions for Strassen’s functional laws of the iterated logarithm at zero and infinity respectively. The sets of limit points of those Gaussian random fields are obtained. The main results are applied to fractional Riesz–Bessel processes and the sets of limit points of this field are obtained.

Abstract:A class of N-parameter Gaussian processes are introduced, which are more general than the N-parameter Wiener process. The definition of the set generated by exceptional oscillations of a class of these processes is given, and then the Hausdorff dimension of this set is defined. The Hausdorff dimensions of these processes are studied and an exact representative for them is given, which is similar to that for the two-parameter Wiener process by Zacharie (2001). Moreover, the time set considered is a hyperrect angle which is more general than a hyper-square used by Zacharie (2001). For this more general case, a Fernique-type inequality is established and then using this inequality and the Slepian lemma, a Lévy’s continuity modulus theorem is shown. Independence of increments is required for showing the representative of the Hausdorff dimension by Zacharie (2001). This property is absent for the processes introduced here, so we have to find a different way.
