Research progress on the assessment and related factors of post-traumatic growth among cancer survivors

Abstract:? With the increase of cancer incidence and the prolongation of the survival period of patients, the problem of cancer survivors becomes prominent. Foreign studies have shown that survivors will experience the positive change of post-traumatic growth in the process of fighting cancer, and promoting its development is beneficial to the health of survivors. However, due to the underdeveloped community health and other reasons, there is little attention and research on the related problems of cancer survivors in China. This paper reviews the concept, assessment tools and related factors of post-traumatic growth of cancer survivors, in order to provide evidence for the formulation of interventions to promote post-traumatic growth of cancer survivors, in order to improve their physical and psychological wellbeing.
