Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on postoperative complications and quality of life in patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 136 cases of severe craniocerebral trau-ma patients admitted by the hospital from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015 were selected as research objects. Ac-cording to the random number table, the patients were divided into observation group and control group, with 68 cases each. The postoperative pulmonary infection, stress ulcer, incision infection, craniocerebral hemorrhage, renal fail-ure, pressure ulcers and constipation were analyzed. The changes of vital signs such as sepsis-related organ faliure asse-ment ( SOFA) , acute physiological and chronic health score II ( APACHEII) and glasgow score ( GCS) before and af-ter nursing were evaluated. Changes of life quality parameters such as physical function, cognitive function, life func- tion and overall score of life quality before and after nursing were evaluated. Results The incidence of pulmonary in-fection, stress ulcer, incision infection, craniocerebral hemorrhage, renal failure, pressure ulcers and constipation de-creased in the observation group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) . SOFA score and A-PACHE score II in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while GCS score were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Overall scores of physical function, cognitive function, life function and quality of life were improved in the observation group, and the differences were sta-tistically significant compared with the control group ( P<0.05 ) . Comparison of various indicators before and after nursing in the observation group showed statistically significant differences ( P<0.05) . Control group before and after nursing were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusions Evidence-based nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of severe craniocerebral injury complications, improve the prognosis of pa-tients, can effectively improve the quality of life of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
