Abstract:Objective To study the self - care ability and influencing factors of the patients with PICC and provide a refereuce for improving the self - care ability.Methods The 220 patients with PICC were conducted a questionnaire survey and the findings were analyzed with the way of self- care measurement scale and PICC self - care knowledge questionnaire.Results The self - care ability of patients with PICC during catheter tube scored 92.19 ± 14.13,there was 79.55％ of patients in the secondary level ; The level of PICC catheter - related knowledge was inadequate in the self - care - related knowledge.Conclusions It is imperative that the self care ability and the level of nursing- related knowledge of the patients with PICC were improved; It should be paid attention to improving the ability of self- care patients with PICC in developing and implementing nursing intervention measures so as to reduce the incidence of complications and prolong the using time of catheter.
