Abstract:EEG studies of emotion processing in psychosis have mixed results. Those investigations perhaps were limited by their emphasis on automatic responses and use of conventional clinical classifications. The B-SNIP consortium developed a methodology using neurophysiological and cognitive measures to differentiate psychosis cases into Biotypes; emotional processing has not been assessed among psychosis Biotypes. The present study examined the effects of stimulus repetition on neural emotional processing among Biotype (B1, B2, B3) and healthy subjects (HC).
