Abstract:In this paper, we give an alternative representation of a free S -quantale over a poset. Furthermore, we give the concrete forms of free and cofree S -quantales over a sup-lattice. Finally, we give an example to present that a cofree S -quantale over a poset does not always exist.

Abstract:In this paper, we give the concrete form of a free Q -algebra over a quantale, where Q is a unital commutative quantale. On the basis of this result, we can obtain the concrete form of a free Q -algebra over a complete lattice (resp., a poset, a Q -module, a Q -poset).

Abstract:In this paper, we present an investigation of quantale algebras (Q-algebras for short) as lattice-valued quantales (Q-quantales for short). First, we prove that the set of all fuzzy ideals of a commutative ring with appropriate operations is a [0, 1]-quantale. Furthermore, we discuss some properties of localic nuclei on Q-algebras, and show that the category of Q-algebras with the quantale structures being frames is a full reflective subcategory of the category of Q-algebras. From this result, we can conclude that the category of L-frames is a full reflective subcategory of the category of L-quantales, where L is a frame. Finally, we build and characterize the Q-quantale completions of a Q-ordered semigroup.

Abstract:hi this paper, we show that a two-sided quantale is coherent if it is isomorphic to the quantale of ideals of a distributive two-sided *-semilattice. Thus quantale representations of distributive two-sided *-semilattices are obtained. We also show that the free two-sided quantale generated by a set exists. And then the category TQuant of two-sided quantales is an algebraic category.

Abstract:This work mainly concerns the—here introduced—category of -sets and functional morphisms, where is a commutative semicartesian quantale. We prove it enjoys all limits and colimits, that it has a classifier for regular subobjects (a sort of truth-values object), which we characterize and give explicitly. Moreover: we prove it to be -locally presentable, (where ); we also describe a hierarchy of monoidal structures in this category.

Abstract:In this paper, some basic properties of quantale are discussed. Two sufficent and necessary conditions that prequantale turn into quantale are obtained. The uniqueness of order-reverse involution on strictly two-sided quantale is proved and the condition that quantale turn into distributive lattice is given.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the notion of K-flat projective fuzzy quantales, and give an elementary characterization in terms of a fuzzy binary relation on the fuzzy quantale. Moreover, we prove that K-flat projective fuzzy quantales are precisely the coalgebras for a certain comonad on the category of fuzzy quantales. Finally, we present two special cases of K as examples.

Abstract:In this paper, based on a complete residuated lattice L, we introduce the definitions of L-quantum spaces and continuous mappings. Then we establish an adjunction between the category of stratified L-quantum spaces and the opposite category of two-sided L-quantales. We also prove that the category of sober L-quantum spaces is dually equivalent to the category of spatial two-sided L-quantales.

Abstract:As a valued domain, quantales have been applied to the study of enriched category, fuzzy algebra, fuzzy topology and fuzzy domain. One purpose of this paper is to investigate semitopological groups and semiclosure semigroups from the viewpoint of quantales. We first show that a semitopological group is completely determined by the topological ideal conuclei of the power-set quantale over a group. Next, we prove that the concepts of semitopological groups and semiclosure groups are dually equivalent. Another purpose of this paper is to investigate ordered semigroups, conditionally complete quantales and quantales from the viewpoint of semiclosure semigroups. As an important result of semiclosure semigroups, we prove that the category of complete semiclosure semigroups is isomorphic to the category of quantales.

Abstract:The concepts of fuzzy subquantic lattices,fuzzy ideals and prime fuzzy ideals of a quantic lattice are given.Then the relationships betw een fuzzy ideals and fuzzy subquantic lattices are discussed and the characterizations of fuzzy ideals and prime fuzzy ideals are studied.It is proved that every ideal of a quantic lattice can be regarded as a cutset of a fuzzy ideal.

Abstract:In order to provide a unified semantics for non-commutative algebraic logic, based on posets, Rump and Yang introduced the concept of quantum B -algebras. In this paper, we mainly consider the construction of quantum B -algebras over posets. We prove that a finite poset can support a quantum B -algebra if and only if its every connected component has a greatest element. However, such a result for infinite posets is not necessarily true. Under certain conditions, some interesting results for a poset to support quantum B -algebra are provided.

Abstract:Based on quantale-enriched category, we consider algebras with compatible quantale-enriched structures, which can be viewed as fuzzification of ordered algebraic structures. We mainly study groupoids and semigroups with compatible quantale-enriched structures from this viewpoint. Some basic concepts such as ideals, homomorphisms, residuated quantale-enriched groupoids are developed and some examples of them are given. Our approach gives a complement to the approach initiated by Rosenfeld to study fuzzy abstract algebra, and these two approaches are combined in the present paper to study fuzzy aspects of abstract algebra structures.

Abstract:Let Q be a reduced left-sided and left-stable quantale without zero divisors. This paper shows how the systematic use of the «quantization» of 2 viewed as a regular and strict right Q-subalgebra of Q can both strengthen and simplify the rather complicated construction of quantale-enriched topologies given for semi-unital and semi-integral quantales in the original paper [3]. The underlying structure for this new construction is an adjoint situation between the dual category of semi-unital, semi-integral quantales and quantized topological spaces.

Abstract:This paper connects complete orthomodular lattices to two enriched quantale structures. Complete orthomodular lattices emphasize a static perspective of a quantum system, helping us reason about testable properties of a quantum system. Quantales offer a dynamic perspective, helping us reason about the structure of quantum actions. We enrich quantales with an orthocomplementation-inducing operator, and call these structures orthomodular dynamic algebras. One type of orthomodular dynamic algebra distinguishes the joins of any two different sets of atoms, while the other distinguishes elements by the collective behavior of the atoms below it. We show that both orthomodular dynamic algebras are unital, and the unit is the top element of an induced orthomodular lattice. We provide a categorical equivalence between both orthomodular dynamic algebras and complete orthomodular lattices with isomorphisms, and we show that this equivalence is preserved when augmenting the orthomodular dynamic algebras with an involution. These equivalences help clarify the relationship between static and dynamic quantum structures.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we introduce a new definition of sheaves on semicartesian quantales, providing first examples and categorical properties. We note that our sheaves are similar to the standard definition of a sheaf on a locale; however, we prove that in general it is not an elementary topos—since the lattice of external truth values of $Sh(Q)$, $Sub(1)$, is canonically isomorphic to the quantale $Q$—placing this paper as part of a greater project towards a monoidal (not necessarily cartesian) closed version of elementary topos. To start the study the logical aspects of the category of sheaves we are introducing, we explore the nature of the ‘internal truth value objects’ in such sheaves categories. More precisely, we analyse two candidates for subobject classifier for different subclasses of commutative and semicartesian quantales.
