Abstract:In the present paper, we prove that any finite nontrivial irreducible module over a rank two Lie conformal algebra [Formula: see text] is of rank one. We also describe the actions of [Formula: see text] on its finite irreducible modules explicitly. Moreover, we show that all finite nontrivial irreducible modules of finite Lie conformal algebras whose semisimple quotient is the Virasoro Lie conformal algebra are of rank one.

Abstract:The notions of conformal Lie 2-algebras and conformal omni-Lie algebras are introduced and studied. It is proved that the category of conformal Lie 2-algebras and the category of 2-term conformal $L_{\infty}$-algebras are equivalent. We construct conformal Lie 2-algebras from conformal omni-Lie algebras and Leibniz conformal algebras.

Abstract:In this paper, firstly we construct two classes of Lie conformal superalgebras denoted by $\mathcal{HVS}(\alpha)$ and $\mathcal{HVS}(\beta,\gamma,\tau)$, respectively, where $\alpha$ is an nonzero complex number and $\beta,\gamma,\tau$ are complex numbers. They are both of rank $(2+1)$ and the even part $\mathcal{HVS}(\alpha)_{\bar{0}}=\mathcal{HVS}(\beta,\gamma,\tau)_{\bar{0}}$ is the Heisenberg--Virasoro Lie conformal algebra, which is a free $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-module generated by $L$ and $H$ satisfying $[L_\lambda L]=(\partial+2\lambda)L,\ [L_\lambda H]=(\partial+\lambda)H,\ [H_\lambda H]=0$. Then we completely determine the conformal derivations, conformal biderivations, automorphism groups and conformal modules of rank $(1+1)$ for these two Lie conformal superalgebras.

Abstract:In this paper, we exhibit two unital, separable, nuclear ${\rm C}^*$-algebras of stable rank one and real rank zero with the same ordered scaled total K-theory, but they are not isomorphic with each other, which forms a counterexample to Elliott Classification Conjecture for real rank zero setting. Thus, we introduce an additional normal condition and give a classification result in terms of total K-theory. For the general setting, with a new invariant -- total Cuntz semigroup \cite{AL}, we classify a large class of ${\rm C}^*$-algebras obtained from extensions. The total Cuntz semigroup, which distinguish the algebras of our counterexample, could possibly classify all the ${\rm C}^*$-algebras of stable rank one and real rank zero.

Abstract:Lie conformal algebras [Formula: see text] are the semi-direct sums of Virasoro Lie conformal algebra and its nontrivial conformal modules of rank one. In this paper, we first give a complete classification of all finite nontrivial irreducible conformal modules of [Formula: see text]. It is shown that all such modules are of rank one. Moreover, with a similar method, all finite nontrivial irreducible conformal modules of Schrödinger–Virasoro type Lie conformal algebras [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are characterized.

Abstract:Let $\mathcal{R}$ be a free Lie conformal algebra of rank $2$ with $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-basis $\{L,I\}$ and relations \begin{eqnarray*} \left[L_{\lambda} L\right]=(\partial+2 \lambda) (L+I),\ \left[L_{\lambda} I\right]=(\partial+\lambda) I, \ \left[I_{\lambda} L\right]=\lambda I,\ \left[I_{\lambda} I\right]=0. \end{eqnarray*} In this paper, we first classify all finite nontrivial irreducible conformal modules over $\mathcal{R}$. Then we determine extensions between two finite irreducible conformal $\mathcal{R}$-modules.

Abstract:Motivated by Witten’s work, we propose a K -theoretic Verlinde/Grassmannian correspondence which relates the GL Verlinde numbers to the K -theoretic quasimap invariants of the Grassmannian. We recover these two types of invariants by imposing different stability conditions on the gauged linear sigma model associated with the Grassmannian. We construct two families of stability conditions connecting the two theories and prove two wall-crossing results. We confirm the Verlinde/Grassmannian correspondence in the rank two case.

Abstract:In this paper, we study two -graded infinite Lie conformal algebras, which are closely related to a class of Lie algebras of the generalized Block type, and which both have a quotient algebra isomorphic to the Virasoro conformal algebra. We concretely determine their isomorphic mappings, conformal derivations, extensions by a one-dimensional center under some conditions, finite conformal modules and -graded free intermediate series modules.

Abstract:In this article, we give the categorification of Leibniz algebras, which is equivalent to 2-term sh Leibniz algebras. They reveal the algebraic structure of omni-Lie 2-algebras introduced in [26] as well as twisted Courant algebroids by closed 4-forms introduced in [13]. We also prove that Dirac structures of twisted Courant algebroids give rise to 2-term L-algebras and geometric structures behind them are exactly H-twisted Lie algebroids introduced in [10].

Abstract:The notion of left-symmetric bialgebra was introduced in [C. M. Bai, Left-symmetric bialgebra and an analogue of the classical Yang–Baxter equation, Commun. Contemp. Math. 10(2) (2008) 221–260] which is equivalent to a parakähler Lie algebra which is the Lie algebra of a Lie group G with a G-invariant parakähler structure. In this paper, we study a conformal analog of left-symmetric bialgebras. The notions of left-symmetric conformal coalgebra and bialgebra are introduced. Moreover, the constructions of matched pairs of Lie conformal algebras and left-symmetric conformal algebras are presented. We show that a finite left-symmetric conformal bialgebra which is free as a ℂ[∂]-module is equivalent to a parakähler Lie conformal algebra. We also obtain a conformal analog of the S-equation (see [C. M. Bai, Left-symmetric bialgebras and an analogue of the classical Yang–Baxter equation, Commun. Contemp. Math. 10(2) (2008) 221–260]), and give a construction of the conformal symplectic double.

Abstract:A characterization of the finite-dimensional Leibniz algebras with an abelian subalgebra of codimension two over a field $\mathbb{F}$ of characteristic $p\neq2$ is given. In short, a finite-dimensional Leibniz algebra of dimension $n$ with an abelian subalgebra of codimension two is solvable and contains an abelian ideal of codimension at most two or it is a direct sum of a Lie one-dimensional solvable extension of the Heisenberg algebra $\mathfrak{h}(\mathbb{F})$ and $\mathbb{F}^{n-4}$ or a direct sum of a $3$-dimensional simple Lie algebra and $\mathbb{F}^{n-3}$ or a Leibniz one-dimensional solvable extension of the algebra $\mathfrak{h}(\mathbb{F}) \oplus \mathbb{F}^{n-4}$.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to study $W(2,2)$ Lie conformal algebra, which has a free $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-basis $\{L, M\}$ such that $[L_\lambda L]=(\partial+2\lambda)L$, $[L_\lambda M]=(\partial+2\lambda)M$, $[M_\lambda M]=0$. In this paper, we study conformal derivations, central extensions and conformal modules for this Lie conformal algebra. Also, we compute the cohomology of this Lie conformal algebra with coefficients in its modules. In particular, we determine its cohomology with trivial coefficients both for the basic and reduced complexes.

Abstract:We show that the conformal characters of various rational models of W-algebras can be already uniquely determined if one merely knows the central charge and the conformal dimensions. As a side result we develop several tools for studying representations of SL(2,Z) on spaces of modular functions. These methods, applied here only to certain rational conformal field theories, may be useful for the analysis of many others.

Abstract:We provide a complete classification of unitary subalgebras of even rank-one lattice vertex operator algebras. As a consequence of the correspondence between vertex operator algebras and conformal nets, we also obtain a complete classification of conformal subnets of even rank-one lattice conformal nets.

Abstract:Lie conformal algebras appear in the theory of vertex algebras. Their relation is similar to that of Lie algebras and their universal enveloping algebras. Associative conformal algebras play a role in conformal representation theory. We introduce the notions of conformal identity and unital associative conformal algebras and classify finitely generated simple unital associative conformal algebras of linear growth. These are precisely the complete algebras of conformal endomorphisms of finite modules.

Abstract:Let $R\subseteq E$ be two Lie conformal algebras and $Q$ be a given complement of $R$ in $E$. Classifying complements problem asks for describing and classifying all complements of $R$ in $E$ up to an isomorphism. It is known that $E$ is isomorphic to a bicrossed product of $R$ and $Q$. We show that any complement of $R$ in $E$ is isomorphic to a deformation of $Q$ associated to the bicrossed product. A classifying object is constructed to parameterize all $R$-complements of $E$. Several explicit examples are provided. Similarly, we also develop a classifying complements theory of associative conformal algebras.

Homotopification and categorification of Leibniz conformal algebras

Abstract:Bakalov, Kac and Voronov introduced Leibniz conformal algebras (and their cohomology) as a non-commutative analogue of Lie conformal algebras. Leibniz conformal algebras are closely related to field algebras which are non-skew-symmetric generalizations of vertex algebras. In this paper, we first introduce $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras (also called strongly homotopy Leibniz conformal algebras) where the Leibniz conformal identity holds up to homotopy. We give some equivalent descriptions of $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras and characterize some particular classes of $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras in terms of the cohomology of Leibniz conformal algebras and crossed modules of Leibniz conformal algebras. On the other hand, we also introduce Leibniz conformal $2$-algebras that can be realized as the categorification of Leibniz conformal algebras. Finally, we observe that the category of Leibniz conformal $2$-algebras is equivalent to the category of $2$-term $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras.
