Abstract:In this paper, we prove weighted norm inequalities for rough singular integrals along surfaces with radial kernels h and sphere kernels Omega by assuming h is an element of Delta(gamma) (R+) and Omega is an element of WG(beta) (Sn-1) for some gamma > 1 and beta > 1. Here Omega is an element of WG(beta) (Sn-1) denotes the variant of Grafakos-Stefanov type size conditions on the unit sphere. Our results essentially improve and extend the previous weighted results for the rough singular integrals and the corresponding maximal truncated operators.

Abstract:This paper studies the weighted boundedness on Triebel - Lizorkin spaces for the rough singular integral. When kernel Ω(x') ∈ L log+ L(Sn-1), for certain radial weight function w(x), the weighted boundedness of the operator is established. Meanwhile, the authors obtain the Fp α,q(w) weighted boundedness of the above operator with Muckenhopt weight function while Ω ∈ Lr(Sn-1), 1 r ≤ ∞.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a characterization of the two weight strong and weak type norm inequalities for the bilinear fractional integrals in terms of Sawyer type testing conditions. Moreover, at the endpoint $p=1$, the $L\log L$ weighted weak type bound is also obtained, which has interests of its own in the theory of rough singular integral even in the unweighted case.

Abstract:We study boundedness properties of one-dimensional bilinear singular integral operators with homogeneous kernels whose restriction $\Omega$ to the unit sphere $\mathbb S^1$ has vanishing integral and belongs to $L^q(\mathbb S^1)$ for some $q>1$. Under the additional assumption that $\Omega$ is supported away from certain degenerate points, we establish the full quasi-Banach range of $L^{p_1}(\mathbb R) \times L^{p_2}(\mathbb R) \rightarrow L^p(\mathbb R)$ bounds, corresponding to any $1<p_1,p_2<\infty$, $1/2<p<\infty$ satisfying $1/p_1+1/p_2=1/p$. In fact, a more general result is obtained by dropping the support condition on $\Omega$ and requiring that $\Omega\in L^q(\mathbb S^1,u^q)$, where $u(\theta_1,\theta_2)=|\theta_1-\theta_2|^{\min\{2-\frac{1}{p}-\frac{1}{q}-\varepsilon,0\}}$ for some $\varepsilon>0$ and for any $(\theta_1,\theta_2)\in \mathbb S^1$. In addition, we provide counterexamples that show the failure of the $n$-dimensional version of our result when $n\geq 2$, as well as the failure of its $m$-linear variant in dimension one when $m\geq 3$.

Abstract:We consider the quasilinear degenerate elliptic equation with rough and singular coefficients of the form div( A(x,u,∇ u)) = B(x,u,∇ u) in an open set Ω⊂ℝ^n, where the quadratic form associated with the principle part of this equation allows vanishing and the coefficients in structural conditions on A(x,u,∇ u) and B(x,u,∇ u) require no smoothness but belong to some Stummel–Kato class. We prove a Fefferman–Phong type inequality related to the Stummel–Kato class and then an embedding inequality. Based on these inequalities, the local boundedness and Harnack’s inequality of the weak solutions are derived. As applications, the continuity and Hölder continuity for the nonnegative weak solutions are given.
Weighted norm inequalities of various square functions and Volterra integral operators on the unit ball

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate various square functions on the unit complex ball. We prove the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Poisson integral in terms of $A_p$ weights for all $1<p<\infty$; this gives an affirmative answer to an open question raised by Segovia and Wheeden. To that end, we establish the weighted inequalities for Littlewood-Paley type square functions. As an interesting application, we obtain the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Bergman gradient. In addition, we get an equivalent characterization of weighted Hardy spaces by means of the Lusin area integral in the context of holomorphic functions. We also obtain the weighted inequalities for Volterra integral operators. The key ingredients of our proof involve complex analysis, Calderón-Zygmund theory, the local mean oscillation technique and sparse domination.

Abstract:This paper deals with the following weighted subelliptic p-Laplace equation L(p)u := div(X) (< A(x)Xu(x), Xu(x)>(p-2/2) A(x)Xu(x)) = g(x), where the system X = (X-1; ...; X-m) satisfies Hormander's condition, u is an element of W-1,W-p (Omega; w); 1 < p < Q; A (x) is a bounded measurable and m x m symmetric matrix satisfying lambda(-1) w (x)(2/p)vertical bar xi vertical bar(2) <= < A (x) xi, xi > <= lambda w (x)(2/p)vertical bar xi vertical bar(2); for xi is an element of R-m, with w = w (x) being an A(p) function. We first establish a maximum principle for weak solutions to the equation L(p)u = g with the weighted Sobolev inequality and the extension of Moser iteration technique to the weight case. Next, the local boundedness and the Harnack inequality for nonnegative weak solutions to L(p)u = g are proved. As an application, the Holder continuity for nonnegative weak solutions is given. Unlike in many papers, we do not impose any restriction in advance for measures of metric balls.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to studying certain singular integral operators with rough radial kernel h and sphere kernel Omega as well as the corresponding maximal operators along polynomial curves. The authors establish several weighted estimates for such operators by assuming that the kernels h (math)1 and Omega is an element of F-beta (Sn-1), or h is an element of Delta(gamma)(R+) and Omega is an element of W F-beta (Sn-1). Here F-beta (Sn-1) denotes the Grafakos-Stefanov kernel and W F-beta (Sn-1) denotes the variant of Grafakos-Stefanov kernel. As applications, the boundedness of such operators on the mixed radial-angular spaces (L vertical bar x vertical bar L theta q)-L-p(R-n) are obtained. Meanwhile, the corresponding vector-valued versions are also given. Moreover, the bounds are independent of the coefficients of the polynomials in the definition of operators.

Abstract:We study the rough bilinear singular integral, introduced by Coifman and Meyer [8], T-Omega (f, g)(x) = p.v. integral R-n integral R-n vertical bar(y, z)(-2n) Omega((y, z)/vertical bar(y, z)vertical bar)f(x - y)g(x - z)dydz, when Omega is a function in L-q(S2n-1) with vanishing integral and 2 <= q <= infinity. When q = infinity we obtain boundedness for To from L-p1 (R-n) x L-p2 (R-n) to L-p (R-n) when 1 < p1, p2 < infinity and 1/p = 1/p1 + 1/p2. For q = 2 we obtain that T Omega is bounded from L-2(R-n) x L-2(R-n) x L-1(R-n). For q between 2 and infinity we obtain the analogous boundedness on a set of indices around the point (1/2,1/2,1). Abstract:Based on properties of vector fields, we prove Hardy inequalities with remainder terms in the Heisenberg group and a compact embedding in weighted Sobolev spaces. The best constants in Hardy inequalities are determined. Then we discuss the existence of solutions for the nonlinear eigenvalue problems in the Heisenberg group with weights for the -sub-Laplacian. The asymptotic behaviour, simplicity, and isolation of the first eigenvalue are also considered.
