Application on Ultra-Shallow 3D Seismic Exploration Technology

Abstract:In order to investigate the application effect of ultra shallow 3D seismic exploration method under the noisy environment of urban condition,an ultra shallow 3D seismic survey was carried out to testify a subway tunnel under a traffic road in Shanghai,China.The ultra shallow 3D seismic data was collected using a kind of special 3D seismic data acquisition layout with dense shots and the seismic data acquisition efficiency was increased.Then the seismic data processing software named Omega was used to process the 3D ultra shallow seismic data.The main processing methods included Band-pass filter,F-X domain Linear noise suppress,amplitude compensation,de-convolution,velocity analysis,CDP stack and so on.At last,the 3D seismic dataset was displayed and analyzed using the 3D visual software.The results show that the seismic reflection event of interface between ultra shallow stratums can be seen from stack profiles.Moreover,the distribution of the subsurface subway tunnel can be identified from ultra-shallow 3D seismic investigation.

Abstract:3D seismic reflection method is rarely utilized in the urban engineering investigation. Especially, application on this aspect is nearly vacant in China. In order to investigate the application effect of 3D seismic method under the complex condition of cities, we selected a subsurface reservoir as exploration goal in Shanghai and carried out 3D seismic data acquisition. The cross observation system was used and shot/receiver interval was lm. The fold is 36. We use a hydraulic impact mechanism as hypocenter. The geophone's natural frequency is 28Hz. The raw show gathers show that the surface wave and correlation noise are so strong that the reflection signal is hard to identify. So we use surface wave zone noise suppressing methods and FX correlation noise suppressing technology to wide off the noises. Moreover, surface consistent amplitude compensation, inverse deconvolution, residual static, velocity analysis, stack processing technologies and so on are used and the stack sections are acquired. The results show that the reflection from bedrock is interrupted, due to the boundary of the reservoir, by which the area coverage of the reservoir is nearly determined. However, because the reservoir is buried very shallow and its structure is so complex, other geophysical methods and drilling data are needed to identify its precise position. Our study lays a foundation for the further research.

Abstract:Land resource management is one of the most important ways to deal with the relationship between land resource and human being to improve land use efficiency and gain more benefits. “3S” technology refers to remote sensing (RS), global positioning system (GPS) and geological information system (GIS). “3S” technology is widely used in different fields generally as an excellent method and it has advantages to exploit in land resource management. Now as the population grows, the conflict between land resource and mankind extrudes with global resource shortage. The effort using “3S” cannot be ignored. This article explains the definition and ability of “3S” technology and analyze the application of “3S” in the Investigation of land resource, land environment dynamic monitoring, land evaluation, land consolidation and land planning. The author concludes the utilization of “3S” technology in land resource management and looks forward its development in the future from different perspectives. Informatization, intelligent and integration are three directions “3S” will make progress. This article takes some examples to illustrate how to help “3S” technology step forward in the future. Through these ways, the optimized “3S” technology has ability to overcome disadvantages and build up new use of the way. So the efficiency of land resource management will be improved obviously to achieve the sustainable use goal of land resource.

Abstract:Mineral exploration as the basis for the development of important mineral resources and economic construction, improving the efficiency of geological exploration is conducive to improving the quality of mineral resources. In this paper, the study of modern mineral resources exploration and utilization methods, drawing on the problems in geological exploration work, discusses effective countermeasures to improve and optimize the level of geological exploration from the perspectives of remote sensing technology and borehole database, etc., with a view to improving the efficiency of geological exploration and mineral search technology, so that energy production can achieve sustainable development and be free from the constraints of increasingly difficult mineral resources development. Based on remote sensing technology, GIS is a system derived on the basis of advanced science and technology and information technology, and its application to geological and mineral exploration can help relevant personnel to have foresight to understand the development of geological exploration and provide detailed data support for optimizing geological exploration work. Coalfield geological exploration arranges a large number of boreholes to find out the thickness of coal seams in the exploration area, the distribution pattern of coal seams and the spacing of coal seams, the characteristics of the top and bottom of coal seams, and the characteristics of coal quality. In the coal mining excavation, the technical personnel need to study the geological data of the borehole in time to design or adjust the excavation plan scientifically and reasonably. By implanting an electronic chip in the drill hole markers completed by drilling, the borehole coordinates, elevation, preservation of the borehole markers, and the website address of the borehole database management system are sent to the users in real time, providing geologists with convenient query services of borehole geological information. This paper proposes a geological and mineral exploration optimization method that integrates remote sensing technology and borehole database, and the relevant experiments prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract:Three dimensional potential assessment for mineral resources was put forward as a consequence of the development of three dimensional geological modeling technology,which provided a new way and a new kind of technique for large scaled mineral resources prediction and the exploration of crisis mines.Moreover,the three dimensional spatial analysis was a further analysis and application based on three dimensional geological models.The concept and the workflow of the three dimensional mineral resources potential assessment were first introduced in the text.Then,the popular methods of the three dimensional GIS spatial analysis composed of three dimensional query analysis,three dimensional buffer analysis,three dimensional overlay analysis.Furthermore,the applications of these methods were shown in four aspects,including the analysis of ore,ore-forming information extraction and integration of ore-control information and results evaluation.Finally,an application of three dimensional GIS spatial analysis for mineral resources potential assessment was conducted by a case study of Anqing copper and iron mine.

Abstract:Applying new approaches,methods,and technologies for the estimation of reserves can effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of assessments of solid mineral resources.After analyzing the development of 3-D geoscience modeling technology（3-D GMT）,this paper discusses the application of 3-D GMT for the estimation of solid mineral reserves,emphatically introducing its workflow and two key technologies,3-D orebody surface modeling,and property modeling.Moreover, the paper analyzes the limitations of traditional methods,such as the section method and geological block method,and points out the advantages of 3-D GMT:building more accurate 3-D orebody models,expressing the internal inhomogeneous attributes of an orebody,reducing the potential for errors in the estimation of reserves,and implementing dynamic estimations of reserves.
