Abstract:One of the key study of anesthetic feeding service is to ensure anesthetic concentration level the same as expected within human effect compartment. The target controlled infusion (TCI) system based on pharmacokinetication is a doable method for it, and the realtime closed-loop anesthetic feeding system based on BIS can fit this expected purpose. This thesis puts forward a design project and implementation of the anesthetic feeding system.

Abstract:With the goal of improving users' production capacity, analysis ability and creativity, the commercial bionic robot is the representative of the application of robot technology in the commercial field. It is the interdisciplinary technical achievement of artificial intelligence, bionics, control, materials and other disciplines. Relevant research is important to open up new industries, and stimulate employment. It can play a vital role in solving the problems encountered in social development, such as labor shortages caused by population aging. Through the investigation and analysis of the literature, the main classification of the specific products of the commercialization of existing robots is clarified. The key research directions of current commercial bionic robots are summarized. Many kinds of commercial bionic robot products, application scenarios and key technologies are discussed, and the result is that commercial bionic robots have broad market prospects. However, at present, China's bionic robots are facing fewer products for individual and family users in the commercial process, which still needs people from all walks of life to promote their applications.

Abstract:In recent years, organs-on-chips have been arousing great interest for their bionic and stable construction of crucial human organs in vitro. Compared with traditional animal models and two-dimensional cell models, organs-on-chips could not only overcome the limitations of species difference and poor predict ability but also be capable of reappearing the complex cell-cell interaction, tissue interface, biofluid and other physiological conditions of humans. Therefore, organs-on-chips have been regarded as promising and powerful tools in diverse fields such as biology, chemistry, medicine and so on. In this perspective, we present a review of organs-on-chips for biomedical applications. After introducing the key elements and manufacturing craft of organs-on-chips, we intend to review their cut-edging applications in biomedical fields, incorporating biological analysis, drug development, robotics and so on. Finally, the emphasis is focused on the perspectives of organs-on-chips.

Abstract:Desirable behavioral attributes in mass-reared insects should include the ability to perform favorably under the various environmental conditions they encounter upon release in the field. Insect quality also may be influenced by storage conditions and storage duration before field release. We studied the effects of three different constant ambient temperatures (15, 20, and 25 degrees C) and different lengths of adult cold storage (0, 24, 48, and 72 h at 2 degrees C) on the locomotor activity of adult Cydia pomonella (L.) mass reared through diapause or standard production protocols. Mobility was assessed in actographs housed in a climate controlled chamber; tests lasted 24 h. We found that adult mobility was significantly higher for both males and females at 25 and 20 degrees C than at 15 degrees C. There were no significant differences in mobility in moths reared through diapause or nondiapaused production protocols. In addition, temporal analysis of the data revealed a significant shift in the diel patterns of activity for both genders when adults were tested at the three different temperatures. Moths exposed to the lower temperature shifted their activity pattern from evening to mid-afternoon, which may be an adaptive behavior to take advantage of the expected warmest period of the day. Diapaused adults were significantly less mobile when stored in the cold (24, 48, or 72 h of storage at 2 degrees C) than were diapaused adults that did not experience cold storage (0 h). However, length of time in cold storage did not significantly influence the mobility of adult codling moths reared through standard production protocols.

Abstract:Bionic robots provide new avenues and possibilities for solving various engineering and scientific problems by mimicking the structure and functionality of biological organisms. Today's bionic robots can not only mimic the movement patterns of animals but also achieve more complex functions, such as entering the human body to diagnose symptoms.This paper introduces the importance of bionic robots in the field of medicine and their related applications. Firstly, the paper defines bionic robots and emphasizes their interdisciplinary nature, highlighting their role in driving innovation and development in medicine. It then analyzes the applications of two main types of bionic robots in medicine: multi-joint rigid-body bionic robots and soft-bodied bionic robots. Using examples such as the Da Vinci surgical robot and soft-bodied bionic robots, it details their principles, design characteristics, and application cases in medicine. The paper also discusses the advantages and limitations of these robots, such as the high precision and minimally invasive advantages of the Da Vinci surgical robot, but also the issues of high learning costs and expensive equipment. Finally, it introduces the frontier of rehabilitation robots, emphasizing their important role in helping patients recover. In conclusion, this review comprehensively elaborates on the basic theories and specific application cases of biomimetic robots in the medical field, providing important references for further research and application in this field.

Abstract:It described the concept of bionics design,methods and models,analyzed the process of form bionics,namely,biological prototype-biological model-mathematical model-test model-product model.Pointed out that form bionics is not a simple mechanical imitation,but the re-creation in repeated practice,finally comprises form that is quite similar to the shape rather than the full with biological prototype.On this basis,to high-speed train (front),car,motorcycle,IT products,and commodities as some examples show that their applications in bionics design.Product form through bionics design,with its natural biological form,directly impacts on people's vision,to give a more intuitive,close,beautiful,lovely feeling.Great importance to environmental protection,particularly in today,bionics design of product shape is especially important.

Abstract:: With the development of the times, people's life concepts, lifestyles and thoughts are also constantly changing, and the demand for cultural products is paying more and more attention to creativity and innovation. Since ancient times, nature has been the source of human enlightenment. As a design method, bionic design not only has a unique sense of beauty, but also makes product design more vital and appealing. The research focus of this topic is to take the inspiration brought by biology as the starting point, with the help of the form elements, color elements, structural elements, functional elements and symbolic meanings in the bionic design, to find new ideas in the design and development of cultural and creative products. Inspiration, the application and exploration of the utilization, processing and re-creation of the external morphological characteristics and internal functional structure of living beings, and giving products a new way of spreading while presenting cultural connotations. The aim is to summarize the innovative thinking methods that transform natural biological characteristics into product design applications, and provide reference and new ideas for promoting the development and design of cultural creative products.

Abstract:Bio‐Inspired robotics and actuators make great achievements thanks to the source of inspiration of nature. This paper classifies the sources of inspiration and summarizes the properties of bionic materials. The matching method of bio‐inspiration to mechanical properties is proposed. The authors are looking forward to the bio‐application prospects in the future. Bionic robotics and actuators have made dramatic advancements in structural design, material preparation, and application owing to the richness of nature and innovative material design. Appropriate and ingenious sources of bio‐inspiration can stimulate a large number of different bionic systems. After millennia of survival and evolutionary exploration, the mere existence of life confirms that nature is constantly moving in an evolutionary direction of optimization and improvement. To this end, bio‐inspired robots and actuators can be constructed for the completion of a variety of artificial design instructions and requirements. In this article, the advances in bio‐inspired materials for robotics and actuators with the sources of bio‐inspiration are reviewed. The specific sources of inspiration in bionic systems and corresponding bio‐inspired applications are summarized first. Then the basic functions of materials in bio‐inspired robots and actuators is discussed. Moreover, a principle of matching biomaterials is creatively suggested. Furthermore, the implementation of biological information extraction is discussed, and the preparation methods of bionic materials are reclassified. Finally, the challenges and potential opportunities involved in finding sources of bio‐inspiration and materials for robotics and actuators in the future is discussed.

Abstract:Edible robots and robotic food — edible systems that perceive, process and act upon stimulation — could open a new range of opportunities in health care, environmental management and the promotion of healthier eating habits. For example, they could enable precise drug delivery and in vivo health monitoring, deliver autonomously targeted nutrition in emergency situations, reduce waste in farming, facilitate wild animal vaccination and produce novel gastronomical experiences. Here, we take a robot designer perspective to identify edible materials that could serve as functional components of edible robots and robotic food, such as bodies, actuators, sensors, and computational components and energy sources, describe recent examples of integration, and discuss the open challenges in the field.

Abstract:Based on the reliability mechanism of biological system, the design theories and methods of high reliable power electronic system, including autonomous decentralized control, redundancy design, intelligent design, self-reproduction and self-repair, self-adaptive and self-organization control, are described. The research results show that the reliability of complex power electronic systems is improved markedly by bionic methods. The power electronics technology can draw some research inspiration from living being. And bionics will have wide applications in the field of power electronics. As a concept, Autonomous Cell (AC) and Autonomous Decentralized Power Electric System (ADPES) are defined. It is pointed that AC is autonomous controllable and autonomous cooperative. Based on AC, ADPES is built. A novel autonomous decentralized single-phase inverter of high reliability is investigated in the method of bionic. Bionic design methods of power electronics system are original from methodological point of view in this paper. The research in this paper is a practical guide to the applications of bionics on power electronics, especially on design of high reliable power electronics systems.

Recent Patents on Mechanical Engineering

Abstract:Background: Masticatory robot is a bionic robot, which is the product of the combination of medical technology and robot technology, to simulate human chewing movement. It can be mainly used for rehabilitation training of patients with occlusal disorders, and detecting the texture of food. Objective: To provide an overview of recent masticatory robots and introduce their respective characteristics and development. Method: This paper reviews various representative patents related to masticatory robot. The structural characteristics, control characteristics, applications of the typical masticatory robots are introduced. Results: The differences of different types of masticatory robots are compared and analyzed, and the structural characteristics are concluded. The main problems in its development are analyzed, the development trend is foreseen, and the current and future research of the patents on masticatory robot is discussed. Conclusion: Masticatory robot has important practical significance, and plays an important role in promoting the technology innovation in medical and food industries. And further improvements are needed in the aspects of authenticity, intelligence and security of the masticatory robot. More patents on masticatory robot should be invented. Abstract:As global environmental pollution increases, climate change worsens, and population growth continues, the challenges of securing a safe, nutritious, and sustainable food supply have become enormous. This has led to new requirements for future food supply methods and functions. The use of synthetic biology technology to create cell factories suitable for food industry production and renewable raw material conversion into: important food components, functional food additives, and nutritional chemicals, represents an important method of solving the problems faced by the food industry. Here, we review the recent progress and applications of synthetic biology in the food industry, including alternatives to: traditional (artificial pigments, meat, starch, and milk), functional (sweeteners, sugar substitutes, nutrients, flavoring agents), and green (green fiber, degradable packing materials, green packaging materials and food traceability) foods. Furthermore, we discuss the future prospects of synthetic biology-based applications in the food industry. Thus, this review may serve as a reference for research on synthetic biology in the: food safety, food nutrition, public health, and health-related fields.

Abstract:Developing an intelligent wearable system is of great significance to human health management. An ideal health-monitoring patch should possess key characteristics such as high air permeability, moisture-wicking function, high sensitivity, and a comfortable user experience. However, such a patch that encompasses all these functions is rarely reported. Herein, an intelligent bionic skin patch for health management is developed by integrating bionic structures, nano-welding technology, flexible circuit design, multifunctional sensing functions, and big data analysis using advanced electrospinning technology. By controlling the preparation of nanofibers and constructing bionic secondary structures, the resulting nanofiber membrane closely resembles human skin, exhibiting excellent air/moisture permeability, and one-side sweat-wicking properties. Additionally, the bionic patch is endowed with a high-precision signal acquisition capabilities for sweat metabolites, including glucose, lactic acid, and pH; skin temperature, skin impedance, and electromyographic signals can be precisely measured through the in situ sensing electrodes and flexible circuit design. The achieved intelligent bionic skin patch holds great potential for applications in health management systems and rehabilitation engineering management. The design of the smart bionic patch not only provides high practical value for health management but also has great theoretical value for the development of the new generation of wearable electronic devices.

Abstract:Accelerating the development of agricultural aviation technology is the need of China’s modern agricultural construction. With the rise of emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, autonomous navigation, and the Internet of Things, agricultural aviation is further developing toward the direction of intelligence to meet the requirements of efficient and sophisticated agricultural aviation operations. Bionics is a multi-discipline and comprehensive border subject. It is produced by the mutual penetration and integration of life science and engineering science. Bionic technology has received more and more attention in recent years, and breakthroughs have been made in the fields of biomedicine and health, military, brain science and brain-like navigation, and advanced manufacturing. This study summarized the research progress of biomimetic technology in the field of agricultural aviation from three aspects of biological perception, biological behavior, and biological intelligence. On this basis, problems of related research and application of agricultural aircraft in real-time obstacle avoidance, path planning, and intelligent navigation were analyzed. Combined with the practice of the rapid development of agricultural aircraft, research and application of bionic technology suitable for agricultural aircraft were then proposed. Finally, prospects of agricultural aero-bionic technology were also discussed from multiple bionic target fusion, three-dimensional spatial information exploration, sensors, and animal brain system mechanism. This review provides a reference for the development of bionic technology in China’s agricultural aviation.
