Progress in Chinese Theoretical Chemistry in 2008

Abstract:Mainland China contributed to progress in several fields of theoretical chemistry in 2008. These fields include the method and application of density functional theory, chemical reaction dynamics and construction of potential energy surfaces, photochemistry, biological molecules and life phenomena, and stereochemistry. This progress has been reviewed in this paper and several important contributions are highlighted.
