An overview of the suppressing effect of nitrogen-containing inhibitors on the formation of dioxins

Abstract:The research on the suppressing effect of nitrogen-containing inhibitors on the formation of dioxins was con- ducted with the factors of temperature,concentrations and types of inhibitors. The potential inhibiting mechanisms were concluded,including inhibiting chlorination,weakening deacon process and poisoning catalyst,by comparing the inhi- bition effect of different nitrogen-containing inhibitors,such as ammonium sulfate,urea and ammonia. A new potential inhibitor,sludge drying gas was discussed,and the focus and difficulty of the research in the future were indicated. The nitrogen-containing inhibitors could inhibit dioxins formation effectively,but the deep inhibition mechanism of the nitrogen-containing inhibitors and the development of new potential inhibitor need a further study.
