Abstract:As a central topic in entrepreneurial studies,entrepreneurial opportunity itself is a controversial concept.Taking into consideration the background of modern competition,the paper uses case study of two successful maternal and child supplies companies to demonstrate that opportunities with different knowledge attributes have different value creation potentials in complex and turbulent external environment.Only by converting to implicit opportunities that are specific to the enterprise can explicit opportunities realize their value.The paper also points out that in the process of opportunity identification and exploitation,a better match between people,opportunity and organization is a determining factor in entrepreneurial performance.
