A review of the effect of various factors on pulmonary function

Abstract:As one of the main diagnostic and treatment evaluation parameters for respiratory disease,lung function has a lot of clinical importance.Many physiological factors such as age,height and even birth weight can impact lung function.And there is a close relationship between lung function and the internal environment,particularly β2-AR gene expression,a large number of cytokines,and other factors.At the same time,environment factors like smoking,methanol,and dust also have deleterious impact on lung function.Additionaly,many diseases such as Type 2 diabetes and scoliosis also have debilitating affects on lung function.Interventions such as oral theophylline and shrinking lips breath can improve lung function.
