Abstract:A numerical simulation calculation on two steam turbine LS casing flow field of different structures and a comparison of analysis were made in this paper.It was found that the structure of LS casing inlet pipe and the volute inlet shape of LS casing had a significant impact on LS casing flow field and the first state efficiency of LS casing,which could provide useful references for designers.
