Abstract:As the material basis of clinical examination, in -vitro diagnostic reagent could directly affect the timeliness and accuracy of clinical examination report if it was not uses properly. Abstract:The management for qualification documents of medical instruments is very important work to management department of medical instruments. Because the number of qualification documents of medical instruments is very large and they have an expiry date, it is difficult to manage them. This article discussed how to manage qualification documents of medical instruments, and an information management system that has a function of traceability management has been developed. This information management system standardizes management for qualification documents of medical instruments, and ensures that qualification documents of medical instruments are available and can be traced. Besides, it can reduce the amount of work for medical instruments management.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE?To evaluate the performance of th e analyzer in order to access the utility of the Hitachi 7600-010 Biochemis try Autoanalyzer for the efficiency of routine chemistry work.?METHODS ? Precision, accuracy, linearity and recovery rate of 22 items withi n day and between day were evaluated. Hitachi 7150 was used as control analyzer to evaluate the correlation.?RESULTS?The CV almost all items w ere less than 3.0% except for D-BIL(7.71%), α-HBDH(6.34%). All items showe d good linearity in the perormance rance r0.99, slope 0.97～1.00. Hitac hi 7600-010 and Hitachi 7150 reveled good correlation (r0.981?8). The r ecovery rates for BUN, Cr, GLU, UA were in the range of 100.00%～102.73%.?CONCLUSI ON?Hitachi 7600-010 shows acceptable performance in the precision, lin earity and accuracy.

Abstract:Objective: The test quality and stability of the biochemical analyzer test systems are extremely important because they can affect the medical standards of an entire hospital. Therefore, the performance test and evaluation of biochemical analyzers are important for their daily use. To investigate the performances of Hitachi 7600 and Beckman AU5800 automatic biochemical analyzers, and evaluate the consistency of the test results. Materials and Methods: Collect 400 clinical serum samples, and test 50 indices using the Hitachi 7600 and Beckman AU5800 automatic biochemical analyzers. Calculate the precision, accuracy, and other performance indices, and then compare the differences in the performances of the two instruments. Results: From the test speed of the 400 blood samples, the test times of Beckman AU5800 and Hitachi are (3.6 +/- 0.4) h and (4.7 +/- 0.8) h, respectively, and the test speed of AU5800 is significantly higher than that of Hitachi 7600 (P < 0.05). The difference in the test results of the quality control product is not statistically significant (P > 0.05). For comparing the bias of the test results, the qualification rates of all the test items are > 90% with bias < <1/2> EQA (External Quality Assessment) as the criterion. There is a reasonable consistency between the test results of the two instruments. In terms of the sample injection speed, test, and reporting speed, AU5800 operates faster than Hitachi 7600. Conclusions: Both the automatic biochemical analyzers have a good precision and accuracy, with AU5800 having a faster test speed. Therefore, AU5800 is recommended to be used in hospitals and test centers with a large sample size, which can suitably share the pressure of emergency samples.

Abstract:Automatic medical analyzer (AMA) systems such as Bio-chemical analyzer and Hematology analyzer are generally composed of management software and control systems, as in layered or distributed framework, which simplifies the design process and makes them more convenient to be maintained and operated. Users interact with the analyzer through the management software system and a user friendly human-computer interface, for human-computer interaction (HCI). In this paper, the development of management software for AMAs is presented, including functional requirements, platforms for development and operation, as well as method for development and application design. Two typical software systems developed respectively for PC/Windows and Embedded systems under embedded operating system (Embedded OS) are given in detail for demonstration. The former OS is suitable for software that acquires a plenty of graphics processing tasks and comes to excellent visual effects, with latter Embedded OS for compact, simple interface with better real-time and stability in instrumentation systems. In addition, graphic user interface (GUI) toolkits are introduced to promote development efficiency of the management software. In the end, two specific developing methods are proposed for actual cases: one using MFC on PC/Windows, the other utilizing MiniGUI on Embedded OS.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application of Hitachi 7180 biochemistry autoanalyzer. Method Shengneng reagent and Shenneng control serum Ⅰ, Ⅱ(Lot NO.3229, Lot NO.4339) and patients' serum were used to evaluate the precision, linearity, accuracy and the schlepped polluting rate of 7180 biochemistry autoanalyzer by detecting these items as alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total protein (TP), calcium (Ca), glucose (GLU), creatine (Cre) and triglycerides (TG).Hitachi 7600 autoanalyzer was used as the control analyzer to evaluate the correlation. Results The within-day and day to day precision of Hitachi 7180 was both between 3% and 4%, the linearity was good (0.96～0.99), the schlepped polluting rate was 0, the coefficient of accuracy (CAC) was higher than 95% and compared with 7600 autoanalyzer, the coefficient of correlation was higher than 0.9856, with no significant difference. Conclusion The main index sign evaluation results of 7180 biochemistry autoanalyzer matches the design request, and fits all levels for biochemistry analysis.

Abstract:Biochemical analyzers are vital instruments that utilize the principle of photoelectric colorimetry to quantify a specific chemical composition in body fluids. This analysis provides critical data for the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and overall health status of various diseases in clinical practice. However, the performance of a biochemical analyzer can vary significantly between different brands or over time within the same brand. Therefore, it is imperative to regularly assess the performance of the analyzer to ensure consistent results for longitudinal studies and to maintain day-to-day data consistency. Additionally, when multiple analyzers are utilized, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of each instrument to ensure accurate results across multiple platforms. In this study, we developed and verified an experimental evaluation scheme for the analytical performance of the instrument, chemometrics for biochemical analyzers, utilizing national reference materials and patient sera as the experimental subjects. We evaluated the performance of the optical system, temperature control system, sample-adding system, and detection system to confirm the feasibility of this scheme. We also compared the analytical performance of different brands of biochemical analyzers for routine biochemical tests, such as liver function, kidney function, ion, blood lipids, blood glucose, and myocardial enzyme spectrum. Using the AU 5400 as a control and the ADVIA 2400 as the comparison system, the relative variation in inter-instrument comparison data was found to be acceptable at the clinical medicine decision level. In conclusion, the performance of a biochemical analyzer can vary significantly between different brands or over time within the same brand. Regular evaluations are necessary to ensure accurate and consistent results across different analyzers. This study provides a feasible scheme for evaluating the analytical performance of biochemical analyzers that can be used to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the results of different brands of automatic chemical analyzers in the laboratory.

Abstract:Abstract In response to the escalating inventory of laboratory equipment, the inadequacy of traditional manual management practices has become increasingly apparent. Current management challenges are underscored by historical data, which reveals a borrowing rate of approximately 30%, a concerning return rate of only about 5%, and an equipment loss rate of 10%. To address these inefficiencies, this paper introduces an advanced, intelligent laboratory equipment management system leveraging STM32 and GM65 technologies, designed to significantly enhance the return rate and minimize equipment loss. The system is meticulously engineered, featuring three integral modules: the scanning module, the core board module, and the communication module. The scanning module employs GM65 technology to rapidly scan and decode QR codes, facilitating the swift transmission of critical data to the core board for intelligent processing and interaction with the laboratory equipment. At the heart of the system, the core board module serves as the central processing unit, adeptly managing data from the scanning module. It intelligently discerns various information types and dynamically updates the TFT-LCD screen with the current status of equipment, ensuring that all users have access to real-time and accurate information regarding the borrowing and returning of equipment. The communication module is pivotal in bolstering the system's connectivity capabilities. Designed with a robust structure, the system is characterized by its simplicity of operation and robust practicality. It not only significantly improves the efficiency of laboratory equipment management but also plays a transformative role in modernizing laboratory management practices. By streamlining the management process and ensuring the optimal utilization of resources, this system provides a solid foundation for the sustainable advancement of laboratory operations.

Abstract:This study aimed to evaluate the performance and clinical laboratory adaptability of the Mindray SAL9000 biochemical immunoassay automation system, ensuring compliance with ISO 15189 standards and relevant national requirements. We conducted comprehensive performance verification tests on 21 biochemical analytes and 15 immunoassays, including precision, accuracy, linear bias, measurement range assessments, interference testing, reference range validation, inter-instrument comparison, and carryover verification. The Mindray SAL9000 demonstrated high performance across various parameters, with all analytes showing good linearity and minimal bias. While specific interfering substances affected some analytes, the system showed excellent resistance to common interferences such as hemolysis, ascorbic acid, and jaundice. The inter-instrument comparison with the BS2000M and Roche 702 indicated a good correlation, with most parameters showing biases of less than 10%, although exceptions were noted for ALT and AST. In conclusion, the Mindray SAL9000 meets clinical requirements through its high precision, excellent accuracy, and broad measurement range, making it a reliable and adaptable choice for clinical outpatient and emergency laboratories.

Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the precision performances of auto-biochemistry instruments of Mindray series, including BS820, BS480, BS380, BS200.Methods: A total of 16 tests which were commonly used in basic units were selected as evaluation indexes. The precision performances were evaluated using EP5-A2, namely <Evaluation of Precision Performance of Clinical Chemistry Devices; Approved Guideline>, approved by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institutes. The standards of judgment were set as folows based on Westgard Quality Control theory: inter-precision<= 1/4 CLIA’88 total error while total precision<=1/3 CLIA’88 total error.Results: The inter- and total precision of the 16 tests under study al fulifled the pre-set standards.Conclusions: The precision performances of auto-biochemistry instruments of Mindray series were good, which can wel meet the clinical needs.
