Abstract:Focusing on the current red chill powder made by the stamp mill lacks the traditional taste,a new small multi-functional stamp mill is designed.This machine uses the motor to drive the transmission shaft,then drive the sheave to elevate the tamper,so the red chill will be stamp crushing by the weight of the tamper.At the same time,rotating of the cylinder barrel increases the chance for stamp crushing.And the split design of the tamper adds the flexibility and adjustability.The practical testing results show that this machine could keep the traditional taste by imitating the traditional stamping way,and it will consume less energy and compensate for current shortage.

Abstract:China produces a large amount of corn straw after the harvest of staple grains every year. Fodder application of corn straw can reduce the waste of straw resources. Such usage also can guarantee the supply of high-quality coarse fodder for livestock and help the development of husbandry and the increase of production and income of farmers and herdsmen in China. Based on the requirements of livestock for straw feed consumption, the corn straw treatment process engineering was studied, and the overall structure, transmission scheme, and main working components of the corn straw crushing and rubbing filament machine were designed. The equipment was developed with three-dimensional modeling and solid design. Key components were verified through finite element analysis. Finally, a prototype was produced for testing. The experimental results showed that when the moisture content of corn straw was tested to be 20%, the percentage of filamentous straw of the equipment was 97.2%, and the calibrated unit power productivity could reach 82.8 kg/(kW · h). Through experiments, all indicators of the equipment met the relevant technical standards of the straw crushing and rubbing filament machine, providing theoretical basis and technical support for the design of the straw crushing and rubbing filament machine.

Abstract:Under special working conditions, a meshed board at the entrance of the feeder was designed and set to quantitatively control the flow of a superfine material with special properties. For a given aperture size and vibration acceleration, the relations between material flow, flow time and vibration frequency were studied by experiments. And the effect of the dynamic characteristics of the electromagnetic switch on the quantitative controlled material flow was analyzed theoretically. Based on the results of experiment and calculation, a design project of automatic feeder that can realize quantitative control of material flow was designed.

Abstract:At present, chestnut is basically using hand to strip off, people’ s finger is inevitably scratched.Focusing on the current problem of high labor cost and low working efficiency, a new automatic chestnut shelling machine is designed. This machine combines rubber and deformed steel bars to separate the chestnut and its capillus.At the same time, the fan and conveyer belt are combined to realize their separation.The practical testing results show that this machine could separate the chestnut and its capillus to a great degree by using the novel shelling and separating way, it will reduce working hard and shorten time from picking to go to the market, it has great value to popularize.

Abstract:Straw found in the field can be conveniently stored and transported through mechanical packaging, and it undergoes crushing during its utilization. The effectiveness of the crushing process directly impacts the efficiency of material utilization. However, current crushing devices available in the market lack specialized mechanisms suitable for the unique characteristics of round corn stalks. To address this issue, the necessary simulation parameters were determined, and an experiment was conducted using the ternary quadratic combination test method. The test factors considered were the center height difference of the knife roller, lower roller speed, and cutter thickness. The response value of the experiment was the material crushing rate. By analyzing the results, the optimal structural parameters were identified. These included a center height difference of 390 mm for the knife roller, a lower roller speed of 14 rpm, and a cutter thickness of 110 mm. With these parameters, the crushing rate of the round straw crushing device reached 93.77%, and the particle passing ratio was 98.52%. To validate the research findings, a test device was constructed and used to confirm the reliability of the obtained results.

Abstract:The demand for fruit is very large, especially fresh-cut fruit is more and more popular, custom-cut fruit machine has emerged. However, the current market of automatic cutting machine exists in general low efficiency, poor applicability of the problem. The author has carried on the market research according to the people's consumption habit, and has completed a new-type fruit cutting machine design. In this paper, a small automatic dicing machine is designed for household use, which adopts the design idea of household appliances, in the work efficiency, product appearance, the use of experience and manufacturing costs to give the most appropriate solution, the use of rotary cutter plus combination of cutter design of raw materials to cut into ding. The structure of the cutting machine is designed by 3D modeling software, and the rationality of the design is verified by movement simulation and finite element analysis. After the design is completed, some physical models are made to verify the working principle of the core structure, and the improvement scheme is put forward. The experiment shows that the fruit cutting machine can complete the specified task, cutting efficiency is higher, fruit waste less, fill the gap in the market, but also provide a reference for other designers.

Abstract:At present, the procedure of using green food crusher exists some potential safety hazard, such as the finger could be cut off when misoperation.Focusing on the current safety problem, the improving design is proposed for the cur-rent green food crusher.The shaking feeding device is designed on the feed port, then the operator could use the shaking to drive the synchronous belt, and the green food will be convey to the cutter.At the same time, the foot step push-off device is designed on the export of the ground feed.When need to push-off the ground feed, the operator could stamp the pedal to push-off the ground feed, so the accident could be avoided.The specific dimension for improving design is defined according to the current parameters, and then the CAD drawing and tomograph of the improved green food crusher are obtained.

This paper mainly on the impact of straw crushing fineness factors for This paper focuses on the theoretical analysis and study of the factors affecting the fineness of straw crushing, and provides a general design plan for the crushing chamber.Firstly, the effect of different hammer and sieve gaps on the pulverisation fineness is studied and the straw pulverisation fineness is changed by changing the hammer and sieve gaps. The effect of hammer blade material, structure, arrangement, distribution density and hammer blade speed on the fineness of the straw is studied. Study the effect of the aperture size and arrangement of the sieve on the fineness of the crushing, and adjust the fineness of the crushing by changing the aperture size of the sieve. The study of the material in the crushing process generated by the "ring flow layer" mechanism, and by changing the shape of the crushing chamber structure to destroy the "ring flow layer" on the impact of the crushing performance of the crusher.Secondly, according to the production requirements of the hammer mill, the structure and material of the hammer blade and screen plate are designed and selected, and the hammer blade is analysed statically using Ansys, the rotor is analysed modally, a complete model of the crushing chamber is designed, and a three-dimensional model of the crushing chamber is built using SolidWorks.Finally, after simulation calculations, the design of the rotor headquarters structure is reasonable. An adjustable hammer and sieve clearance was achieved, reducing costs and improving the efficiency of the pulveriser crushing.

Abstract:A new type of machine was designed that would be used to pick up the liquorice. This machine with simple structure would play an important role in the practice. Basic structure of the machine was introduced, the parameters of the key components were analyzed and optimized through experiment. In order to ensure working performance of the digger working, the depth of digging was adopted for 400 mm and the angle of getting into the soil was set for 8°. The damage to the liquorices was limited under 6%, through the traction experiment of the tractor, the power consumption of the work team was calculated, according to which rational power was provided. Further more, shortcoming of the plow that was used at the present time was pointed out by comparing the plow with the liquorice digger.

Abstract:Sugarcane is one of the largest economic crops in China. However, the current domestic sugarcane straw crushing and returning machines have limitations such as short service life, poor crushing effect, and low operating efficiency. In order to solve these problems, a 1GYF-240 sugarcane straw crushing and returning machine was developed in this study. First of all, the power is provided by the tractor, and at the same time, it drives the blade in the crushing mechanism to rotate at a high speed. Next, the profiling leaf collector collects the sugarcane stalks that are close to the ground and feeds them into the crushing chamber. Finally, the swinging knife and the fixed knife are used for crushing, and the crushed straw is evenly thrown to the field along the rear baffle under the action of centrifugal force, thereby completing the operation of crushing and returning the sugarcane straw to the field. The results of field experiments show that the qualified rate of sugarcane straw crushing is 93.8%, and the work efficiency is 0.78hm2·h-1, which shows good operation effect. The results of comparative experiments show that this study not only solves the environmental pollution problem of traditional incineration well, but also has the function of heat preservation and water retention. In addition, compared with similar domestic models, the experimental results show that the crushing and returning machine has obvious advantages in picking up rate and crushing rate of sugarcane straw, and has higher reliability in actual operation. This research can provide the foundation and support for the design and popularization of the sugarcane leaf crushing and returning machine.
Integrated Economic and Environmental Analysis of Agricultural Straw Reuse in Edible Fungi Industry.

Abstract:BACKGROUND:China currently faces severe environmental pollution caused by burning agricultural straw; thus, resource utilization of these straws has become an urgent policy and practical objective for the Chinese government.METHODS:This study develops a bio-economic model, namely, "straw resource utilization for fungi in China (SRUFIC)," on the basis of a field survey of an edible fungi plant in Zhejiang, China, to investigate an integrated economic and environmental performance of straw reuse in fungi production. Five scenarios, which cover changes in the production scale, wage level, and price fluctuations of the main product and inputs, are simulated.RESULTS:Results reveal that (1) the pilot plant potentially provides enhanced economic benefits and disposes added agricultural residues by adjusting its production strategy; (2) the economic performance is most sensitive to fungi price fluctuations, whereas the environmental performance is more sensitive to production scale and price of fungi than other factors; (3) expanding the production scale can be the most efficient means of improving the performance of a plant economically and environmentally.DISCUSSION:Overall, agricultural straw reuse in the edible fungi industry can not only reduce the environmental risk derived from burning abandoned straws but also introduce economic benefits. Thus, the straw reuse in the fungi industry should be practiced in China, and specific economic incentive policies, such as price support or subsidies, must be implemented to promote the utilization of agricultural straws in the fungi industry.

Abstract:The designed multistage broken and separator machine is a new integrity machine including broken splitter crusher and separator,the structure and function of this new machine were described,its inherent characteristics were analyzed through guiding Pro/E 3D model into the ANSYS software,the analysis data was applied to modify its subtle structure for making the structure more reasonable and achieving better function.The vibration equation through the Simulink was calculated and the vibration situation of three sieve plates was studied,the prototype model through theoretical calculation and simulation technology was manufactured,analyzing model prototype through experimental analysis.The results showed that the design of multistage broken and separator machine reached the expected goal.

Abstract:To improve the banana straw crushing rate, a new vertical shaft opposite-cut banana straw crushing and returning machine was designed. This study analyzed the structural characteristics of piranha teeth. Inspired by this, a bionic blade was designed to improve work efficiency. Through theoretical analysis, the main structural parameters of the key crushing components were determined. The main factors affecting banana straw crushing of the crusher were the forward speed of the machine, the rotational speed of the crushing shaft, and bending angle of the crushing blade. A three-factor three-level field test was carried out to obtain the optimal values for these parameters. The results showed that the optimal combination was the forward speed of 1.45 m/s, a rotational speed of 1600 r/min, and a bending angle of 150°. The qualified rate of straw crushing was 93.89% under the optimal working parameters. Repeated experiments showed that the optimal combination could meet the standard requirements. In conclusion, the new vertical straw crushing machine and its optimization of the selected parameters significantly improved banana straw crushing rate.

Abstract:The invention relates to a method for producing a biological particle grain-saving straw feed, effectively solving the problem of grain waste in the production of a biological particle straw feed so as to meet the need of stockbreeding on feeds. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, mixing the raw materials in percentage by weight: 70-80 percent of straws, 17-27 percent of corn meal, 0.5-1 percent of ammonium bicarbonate, 0.2-0.4 percent of brown sugar, 0.5-1 percent of active biochemical bacterium and 0.4-0.6 percent of common salt; adding 45-55 percent by the raw material weight of water at 24-30 DEG C and uniformly stirring and mixing; and then, putting in a sterile workshop at 40-44 DEG C, carrying out anaerobic fermentation for 6-8 days, extruding to remove 30-40 percent of water content to form a fermented raw material and then granulating and air-drying. The method provided by the invention is simple, rich in raw materials and easy to produce, can fully utilize biological straws and save grains, has good feeding effect and remarkable economic and social benefits and therefore is a great innovation on the biological feed.

Abstract:The high energy consumption and low crushing length qualification rate of traditional straw returning machines in the main maize-growing regions of northeast China make it difficult to promote straw returning operations in the region. The primnoa locust mouthpart is extremely efficient in cutting maize rootstocks. In this paper, it was found that there are significant differences between the primnoa locust mouthpart and the conventional machine, these exist mainly in the cutting edge structure and cutting motion. Thus, this paper develops a coupled bionic design for structural and kinematic coupling elements to develop a bionic straw returning machine. This paper found that the operating performance of the bionic straw returning machine was mainly affected by the blade rotation radius and the output rotation speed of the drive mechanism through DEM (discrete element method) simulation, and the optimal combination of the two parameters was 248 mm rotation radius and 930 r/min output rotation speed. Finally, this paper finds that the most obvious operational performance difference of the bionic straw returning machine compared with the traditional straw returning machine is that it can reduce the cutting power consumption by 9.4–11.7% and improve the crushing length qualification rate by 10.4–14.7% through the operational performance comparison test. Based on the above findings, this paper suggests that in future research and development of straw returning machines, more attention can be focused on finding suitable bionic prototypes and improving bionic design methods.
Design and Experimental Study of a Bi-Directional Rotating Stubble-Cutting No-Tillage Planter

Abstract:In view of the problem of a large amount of stubble and straw in Southwest China, it is difficult to carry out no-tillage sowing operations. Based on the principle of supported cutting, a bi-directional rotating stubble-cutting no-tillage planter was designed. According to the extracted left and right mouth contours of Batocera horsfieldi (Hope), the blade curve of a bi-directional rotating cutterhead was designed. The discrete element models were established regarding ‘bi-directional rotating disc cutter, straw and soil’, ‘fertilizer apparatus and fertilizer’, and ‘opener and soil’ in the Extended-Domain-Eigenfunction Method (EDEM) software. The optimal working parameters were analyzed using a quadratic regression orthogonal rotation test and response surface methodology. Accordingly, the prototype was manufactured and the field performance test was carried out. The best working parameters of the machine were as follows: the forward speed of the machine was 0.9 m·s−1, the cutter spacing was 60 mm, the forward speed was 150 r·min−1, and the reverse speed was 313 r·min−1. The field experiment results showed that the average cutting rate of corn straw was 95.72% using the anti-blocking device when the straw mulching amount was 1.63 kg·m−2.The average sowing depth was 5.4 cm, the average fertilization depth was 10.1 cm, and the average seed–fertilizer spacing was 4.7 cm. The qualified rates of sowing depth, fertilization depth, and spacing were 88.89%, 100%, and 100%, respectively. The designed bi-directional rotating stubble-cutting no-tillage planter can meet the requirements of no-tillage sowing in Southwest China. This study can provide reference for the design and improvement of no-tillage planters under the conditions of a large amount of stubble and straw.
