Abstract:The agent-based negotiation between enterprises is an important part of the supply chain management. First, we analyze the key constituents in the supply chain management from multi-agent and single agent's perspective. Then, a general negotiation model according to negotiation features of the supply chain is presented. In the model, we design a flexible protocol and analyze the agent's decision model.

Abstract:Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a newcomer in supply chain area. With the help of RFID technology, real time information can be collected. Multi-agent technology is a popular way to address distributed supply chain management (SCM), and information sharing plays a key role in multi-agent system. To give multi-agent based model more power and facility, we present a RFID based multi-agent model, in which information synchronization is realized by employing RFID technology at item level. The RFID based multi-agent system is constructed, intra- and inter-coordination mechanism of this system are discussed.

The system optimizes the business affairs by the bid organization based on the bulletin board technology, and decomposes the requirements effectively by the shortest paths. Abstract:The advent of new enterprise paradigms of extended, virtual and agile enterprises presents new requirements on organizational concepts and supporting technologies. Inter- and intra-organizational relations need enterprise information systems (EIS) to support their establishment, deployment and discontinuation. This paper describes the model of multi-agent system (MAS) for supporting the dynamic enterprise model (DEM). It separates the business process from the organizational structure (organizational structure tier and business process tier), models each of them as MAS, and coordinates agents by “yellow page” mechanism. This model not only can regulate itself in terms of DEM, but also centers on the coordination strategies between the agents. It is believed that the model of MAS is a practical way to build flexible EIS

Abstract:Based on the agent principles, a two leveled architecture of supply chain management(SCM) was established to integrate the different management systems of the enterprises on a supply chain and to implement the information interchange, the first level is comprised of three function agents which carry out the collaboration and coordination of suppliers, manufacturers and dealers on the supply chain, and the second level is comprised of four interface agents with which the production management module, inventory management module, procurement management module, sale and service management module of different management systems can be conveniently inserted into and removed from the supply chain. The web-based software platform was developed which can support the plug play of different management systems and the reconfiguration of the supply chain.

Abstract:Advances in computer network technology have brought process control theory into a new field. In modern process industry, one of the key issues is how to solve the island automation. A feasible solution is to construct a distributed control system by communication network. In this paper, we propose an intelligent supervisory control system architecture based on multi-agent theory. The system is composed of user agent, management agent, diagnosis agent, optimization agent, regulator agent, measurement agent, data agent and production agent with different objects and tasks. The implementation technology of the agent-based distributed supervisory control system with COM/DCOM and CORBA standard is introduced in detail. Its main advantages include that it is an open, distributed and flexible system, and it has strong reusability and can be easily implemented with the developing software technology.

Abstract:By investigation to the enterprise production logistics system,the model is established based on the multi-agent.This multi-agent model has two levels:(1) the multi-agent model of enterprise production logistics of the workshop level,which has seven agents including process agent,carry agent,part agent,etc.;(2) the multi-agent model of control level which has nine agents including management agent,plan agent,decision agent,etc.The functions of every subagent have been introduced,which are contacting with each other.Taking the JSP with four work pieces and four machines as an example,it proves that the model is useful,and efficient.The multi-agent fits manufacturing enterprise logistics well for modeling.

Abstract:A novel theoretical model of the component agent was proposed based on multi-layer finite state machine (FSM) and the requirements of collaborative design. And a new collaborative design-oriented product data model (CDPDM) was put forward. The CDPDM included three basic data modules (function data, structure data and management data) and a remote data modification module. This model had five characteristics: neutral representation, reusability, knowledge engineering, remote data modification and self-management. By combining the theoretical agent model with the CDPDM, a product component agent frame was proposed and some key issues, e. g. environment model construction, program and data encapsulation, software reuse and strategy set organization, were discussed. The practical application in demonstration enterprise shows that the proposed system can enhance the ability of the collaborative product design.

Abstract:The application of multi-agent technology in manufacturing is a research focus. CSCW and CORBA,two related technologies of multi-agent technology, are discussed firstly. This paper gives a survey of multi-agent technology for holonic manufacturing system, supply chain management, virtual enterprise, robot, process planning system, scheduling and assembly. Abstract:On the basis of analyzing the demand, to determine the entity targets of auto parts ASP platform, a simplified model of ASP platform is formed by studying entity targets separately through mobile Agent technology. The ASP platform with mobile Agent is achieved preliminarily by studying the working mechanism of the mobile Agent. It focuses on the framework structure of Agent and the typical collaboration between the Multi-Agent among the physical objects. The research shows that mobile Agent technology has good prospects of application in the network manufacturing, and it also provides a new way of thinking for achieving the intelligent ASP platform.

Abstract:By researching the enterprise manufacturing logistics system, the model of it is established based on, the multi-agent. The model has eight agents including process agent, transition agent, parts agent, etc. The process agent is the most important agent in the model, so the key point is to introduce the mathematical model of process agent based on arithmetic of dynamic scheduling. This agent model can be used to judge whether to accept process tasks according to manufacturing capacity. Taking the example of flexible shop-scheduling about 4 products & 4 machines, it indicates that the modeling method based on multi-agent is useful, efficient.
