Abstract:The main functions and features of the intelligent analysis and decision support system of Zhejiang Power Grid were introduced.This system supports the import and export of BPA、CIM、PSASP、PSSE files.It separately manages the versions of power grid structure,load and output,maintenance plan,and then forms various kinds of operation modes trough mergence.After that,this system can do power flow calculation,short-circuit calculation,transient calculation,and also can analyze the security and stability of the power grid's operation through the static voltage stability analysis,calculation of the transmission interface's thermal capability,security check and so on.The details of calculation and analysis are showed by tree reports,prompts、warnings and aid strategy are given to guide the security operation of the power grid.
Modeling and Implementation on Power System of Coal Mine Underground Based on Smallworld

Abstract:According to the characteristics of complicated network and spatial distribution of coal mine power system,Smallworld was used as GIS platform to build a model of the system. Based on object oriented modeling technology,fields and relationships,containing physical and geometric topological,were defined to build mining engineering objects and power system objects model. Substation internal object and an independent coordinate system were added which associated substation with its equipments. Using Magik language,external database access module was developed for dynamic visualizing equipment telemetery information. Taking Huoerxinhe Coal Mine as an example,the model were realized and the module was tested. The results showed that seamless fusion of spatial distribution and primary connection among equipments was realized by the model. It was promoted that the monitoring and management level of underground power system by access telemetry data in GIS platform. At the same time,it was put forward that the future research emphasis included fault source tracing, power cut analysis and other professional functions developed by topological analysis.

Abstract:As a popular virtual globe program,Google Earth(GE) can display the power system geography information system(GIS) information expediently and intuitively.Aiming at the power system GIS construction based on GE,the features of GE and its advantages used in power GIS were introduced.Based on the problem of the KML supported by GE,the power system GIS data was converted to KML format.The results indicate that it can achieve the power system GIS,power controlling information,as well as visual display of network planning information based on GE.

Abstract:Nowadays,a urban emergency system has been a important part of informatisation,and there are some limitations in the present urban emergency systems.In this paper,the authors recount the functions and applications of GIS and mathematical models on this subject in practical applications,and analyze the characteristics and functions that a emergency system should possess,and then frame a computer emergency system based on GIS.In the end of the paper,two examples of evaluating and forecasting of emergency are discussed.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the necessity of the application of WebGIS in CATV basic network. There was almost no research in using WebGIS to manage CATV basic network data in China. This paper briefly introduces how to construct an integrated transaction management system of CATV basic network based on WebGIS, and it forms a database of pivotal points, lines and buildings. CATV basic network based on WebGIS has very great superiority to traditional GIS, anybody can visit the system in anyplace by wired or wireless connection. Therefore it can satisfy the managers who want to query information about network, equipment and customers or response on. In this way the routine network and equipment maintenance becomes easily and fleetly. But WebGIS also has bottle-necks such as vector graphic editing. The editing of vector graphic and attribute play important roles in GIS, especially in CATV basic network management, because equipment, cable and fiber-optic change frequently. This paper develops Zhejiang Jiangshan broadcasting and TV station geographic information system on the basis of ArcIMS platform, and making use of the capability of reading and writing spatial data of ArcSDE to solve vector graphic editing problem.

Abstract:Taking example for MapObjects,the paper analyzes the advantages of embedded GIS components application in ITS simulation software and introduces the formats of MapObjects shape file and ITS simulating data.A method of establishing secondary index to connect data dynamically is also presented,which can solve the problem of connecting MapObjects with ITS simulation data and build traffic network and query data efficiently.The method and steps are introduced in detail.
Development and Application of GIS Platform Decision-making Support System for Power Network Planning

Abstract:Traditional power network planning mainly depends on the history development of a certain area and the experience of the planners.A new generation of GIS-based decision-making support system for power network planning is presented in order to overcome the limitation and deficiency of traditional power network planning.Due to its advanced planning theory and methods,GIS-based technology and powerful interfaces with other basic databases of power system,the introduced system has the characteristics of advanced technology,high intelligence,practicality and flexibility.Furthermore,the system has been successfully implemented in power system planning of Guangzhou Electric Power Bureau.The results verify that the introduced system can not only improve the scientificity,practicality and speediness of power network planning effectively,but also provide visualization platform for management and decision-making of power network planning.

Abstract:GML(Geography Markup Language) is the language applied in the standard storage of GIS(Geographical Information System),and SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics)is adaptive to transmit graphics file on web, while KML(Keyhole Markup Language) is specially used for Google Earth. In this paper, GML,SVG and KML are discussed firstly, especially their advantage, disadvantage and their application field. Then, after introducing the GML_Support package which was added to the IEC61968 lately, the paper puts forward a graphics system framework of power system that is based on GML and SVG, and also the framework is accordant to CIM. Finally, the application of this framework is introduced briefly.

Abstract:With economic development and social progress, geographic information science is playing a more and more important role in tourism development. Many spatial analysis methods have been used in planning and design of scenic development programs. In this paper, the application of geographic information systems is illustratedfrom three perspectives. DEM model, Voronoi diagram and Space syntax are used to help achieve suitable land use, rational scenic spots layout, and traffic systems, with which tourist split-flow may be attainable. This study enriches tourism planning methods, which may make tourism planning more scientific and operable.

Abstract:Abstract With the rapid development of information, the development of geographic information system (GIS) is also very rapid, and the development of information has laid a solid foundation for geographic information. In the process of practical application, geographic information system has obvious advantages compared with traditional surveying and mapping technology, which can reduce the influencing factors of external environment and has strong anti-interference ability. Establishing and perfecting the information surveying and mapping system is of great significance to the healthy and orderly development of society. In the surveying and mapping of smart city, as a kind of pre construction scanning positioning system, GIS has high measurement accuracy and data processing ability, so it is paid more and more attention by construction enterprises and construction enterprises in urban construction. Abstract:In this paper,the GIS basic technology system is described.According to the GIS application progress,the new generation GIS technology,which focuses on distributed and peer to peer computing,is presented.At first,this paper discusses the history of GIS technology progress and the basic technical characteristics of past generation GIS software.Based on it the trend of GIS application progress is analyzed and the basic technical characteristics of new generation GIS software are presented.From the points of spatial data model,spatial query language and spatial data distributed computing,the technical and theoretical system is discussed in detail and the feasible implement mechanisms and the new generation GIS prototype are presented.

Abstract:Since the concept of WebGIS appeared, its theory and application have been researched in our country. But it is still under the experimentation until now, so it cannot be called the real So it is necessary to summarize the research results for these years. This paper sums up the main characteristics of WebGIS on the basis of collecting and studying a great deal of published scientific thesises, research reports, degree thesises and applications. The paper also sums up the key problems and realizing technology of WebGIS, and its application status in agriculture, forestry, weather, water conservancy, earthquake, ocean, land and resource, environment protection, railroad and traffic, electric power, city construction and programming are emphasized. Finally the paper discusses the development trend of WebGIS. The conclusion is that WebGIS can be used more widely as an opening application platform.

Abstract:Applied embedded techniques grow rapidly in recent years and the relative products can be found anywhere. Embedded computers have been applied in many fields of manufacturing, such as process control, communication, automobile, watercraft, aviation, spaceflight, military equipment and consuming products, etc. It provides us a good chance for the development of micro-embedded GIS software. In this paper, we have made a detailed discussion on the background of techniques and characteristics, perspective of applied development, and state of the art of micro-embedded GIS software. The significance of developing our embedded GIS software and techniques with independent copyrights is also discussed and some suggestions for the development of embedded GIS software are presented.
Implementation of Graphical Browsing Service of Geographic Information System Platform in Transmission and Distribution Network

Abstract:Two main ways of creating a grid geographic information system (GIS) are described, i.e., the instant query method based on structured query language (SQL) database and the static publishing method based on slicing.The performance bottleneck and function limitations of the two ways in grid application are compared.The memory database oriented to device object is designed and developed.By using the partition and the paging storage technologies, the province wide graphic and pattern data on "transmission, substation, distribution and low voltage" are cached in the GIS application server.The spatial index is created, and incrementally updated with the network version iteration for highly efficient caching and indexing of a large-scale power grid model.Then the implementation method of graphics browser subsystem of provincial centralized power grid GIS platform using the technology is described.The GIS application server provides vector graphics WebService, and the B/S client carries out dynamic graphics rendering.Finally, in a pressure test of an actual online system, each server of the system developed processes more than 1 000 times of dynamic graphics browsing services per second in the tens of millions of grid equipment scale, and each service processing time is less than 0.1 s.

Abstract:Geographic information system technology is developed rapidly in the field of electric power production management, including huge data of power equipment and facilities, user data and planning data, showing a certain space and complexity from power generation, transmission, distribution to electricity consumption. Applying the potential advantages of geographic information system technology to the management of power system can organically combine the map, image and attribute data in the power grid management system, thus greatly improving the quality of power and reliability of power supply. This paper emphatically elaborates information integration technology based on the ESB. Applying the spatial data of the power grid GIS platform to the business planning of production management system can not only integrate or inherit the existing power system applications, but also facilitate the expansion of new business system functions, which has good dynamic scalability, realizes the automation and informatization of power grid production management, and provides strong support for the self-healing and reliability of power grid.

Abstract:SVG is a standard text-based graph description language.It is a key issue for the standardization of the dispatching automation system to implement SVG-based graphic system.A graphic model,which is based on graph-datum integration method,is proposed in this paper for electric power dispatching.The transformation between SVG and other graphic formats is implemented,the topology structure can generate automatically using set-division method,and the application in dispatching visualization is also discussed.As the platform can share the graphic information among different systems,the new graphic system meets the requirement of real-time display and supports the data visualization.

Abstract:Based on the water environment information of Chaohu Lake,GIS based application program was developed by using the advanced facing object program language Visual Basic6.0 and Map Objects2.0 to simulate the water transfer project from Yangtze River to Chaohu Lake.Basic geographical information,hydrological information and water quality information were statistic,analysis and management by the simulate program.The mathematical model and GIS were integrated by the method of embedding to realize dynamic simulation ability which provided a power sustain for the argumentation of water transfer scheme and environment management.
