Abstract:Metro equipment engineering consists of multiple subsystems like Vehicle system, Rail system, Telecommunication system, Signal system, Power system, Integrated supervisory control system etc. The improvement of automation in metro equipment systems has led to the complexity of functional linkages of multiple subsystems and increasing number of physical interfaces. Integrated testing plays an important role in the system final acceptance. However, traditional integrated testing approaches include scattered interface documents, large amount of testing records in paper and frequent interface meetings which result in low efficiency and unnecessary failures. This paper develops an interface-based integrated testing management system, helps the owner to establish the complex physical interface framework and integrate related interface attributes. It links the sub-processes of integrated testing with relating interface information, tracks real-time interface status and reveals integrated testing schedules. Besides, the system also provides an interface conflicts coordination mechanism for the multi-discipline participants. The result of pilot test proves that the system can improve efficiency of integrated testing as well as the performance of interface management and further promotes the quality of system final acceptance.
