Abstract:High yield pulping technology consumes less energy in refining, and causes less wastewater and less pollution, additionally the yield rate is higher and pulp strength is better. However, the wastewater results from this method have high density and colority, the discharged wastewater still contains various toxic chemical contaminant, this pollution problem isn't allowed to ignore. To solve the problems of the papermaking wastewater new discharge standards and reuse, according to features of poplar APMP pulping effluent, A coagulation-anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR)-sequencing batch reactor(SBR)-biological aerated filter(BAF) process used for the effluent advanced treatment was studied. The result shows that about 90% suspended solids in the original wastewater are removed by coagulating sedimentation pretreatment, be lessening contaminating load of follow-up handle. The B/C of wastewater is raised 0.27 to 0.38 by ABR anaerobic reaction, the biodegradability of wastewater is great improved. Resolvable contaminant in the wastewater is removed by continuous aerobic SBR, the out water of the second sedimentation basin is going to advanced treatment by BAF, the average CODCr and colority of the treated water respectively are 78.3mg/L and 41times, the quality of the final water not only can completely satisfies the new discharge standard (GB3544-2008), but also the recycle requirements. The handling system has many merits with simple technological process, high efficiency, stability reliably running, and low cost.
