Perspective of Research on Internet Addiction Disorder

Abstract:Internet is becoming an important part of our daily life.But overuse of the Internet will lead to both physical and mental disorders,which are called as the Internet Addiction Disorder(IAD).Based on the recent research literatures,this article summarizes the concept,diagnostic criteria and recovery process of IAD,and examines the relationship between IAD and some relevant variables such as Internet features and user's personality.The therapy to IAD and further research orientations are also discussed.
