Abstract:Objective: To discuss the relationship between the fracture of the orbital floor as well as the medial orbital wall and the displacement amounts of related soft tissues. Method: 15 patients were scaned by MSCT. The fracture surface of the medial orbit wall and the orbital floor and related displaced soft tissue volume were assessed by the Simplant analytic software and compared statistically. The fracture shape was saved in the form of the STL file. Results: The mean fracture surface of the orbital floor was (4.64±0.77) cm2; the mean displaced soft tissue volume at the orbital floor was (2.58±1.33) cm3. The correlation between them was y=1.18602x-2.929,R=0.683. The mean fracture surface of the medial orbit wall was (5.53±1.14) cm2; the mean displaced soft tissue volume at the medial orbit was (2.59±1.05) cm3. The correlation between them was y=0.6894x-1.1342,R=0.7829. Conclusion: The relationship of the fracture of the orbital floor and the medial orbital wall with the displacement amount of related soft tissue showed a linear equation.
