Abstract:There can be no uniform definition of education which is the object of multi-disciplinary research. Education itself is a kind of practical activities pointing to the "human being". To define education itself just as the "noumenon" , the "eternal"aspect of education can only be outlined ; education itself can expand its rich historical connotations in the problem domain that "what education should be" , and get its explanation during the inquiry that "how education is possible"and "why education is like this". Education itself is associated with "running education"and "utilizing education" , thus formed its inseparable link to the practical activities in the fields of society , economy , politics and culture , which is the objective foundation of the multi-disciplinary research on education. Based on education itself , to broaden the horizon and open the border , is the discipline standpoint that can be upheld by the pedagogy in the context of the multi-disciplinary research ; Based on this position the value measurement of education is that "people is the goal rather than the means". The categories that are able to reveal "historic"of education , must be the theoretical concepts abstracted from specific educational practical experiences , and they are the "logical starting point"to construct explanatory theory of pedagogy.
