Simultaneous Determination of Eight Organic Acids in Mailuoning Injecton by UPLC

Abstract:AIM To use UPLC to simultaneously determine neochlorogenic acid,chlorogenic acid,cryptochlorogenic acid,caffeic acid,3,4-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid,3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid,4,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid and cinnamic acid in Mailuoning Injecton(Achyranthis bidentatae Radix,Scrophulariae Radix,Dendrobii Caulis,Lonicerae japonicae Flos).METHODS The analyses were performed on a Waters AcquityUPLC system equipped with an Agilent Poroshell 120 EC-C18(3.0 mm ×100 mm,2.7 μm) column,and with the mobile phase of methanol-water containing 0.1% acetic acid and eluted in gradient mode.The flow rate was 0.4 mL/min,the column temperature was 25 ℃,and the detection wavelength was 327 nm and 278 nm.RESULTS The investigated organic acids had good linearity over the tested range and the average recovery was 98.2%-101.7%.CONCLUSION This method is simple,rapid,accurate and reproducible,and can be applied to the quality control of Mailuoning Injecton.
